[Genshin Impact] I Woke Up with Memories of My Past Life

My name is Qiguan Pingling, a junior member of a Liyue family of exorcists. It's not particularly important, but I think I may have awakened memories of a past life.

In my memories, I fought alongside Rex Lapis and helped establish what is now Liyue Harbor. It sounds absurd, and at first I didn't believe it either, until a red spear flew in through my window the next morning and landed by my bed. After that, I had no choice but to believe it.

I'd seen that spear just two days earlier. It was treasured in the Feiyun Commerce Guild's dazzling Sword Collection Pavilion, and was said to have belonged to a deceased hero of Liyue.

Now here's the problem: how is she supposed to explain to Xingqiu that she really didn't steal the spear?

Human life has its limits. Even if you do everything in your power to hold on, you still can't catch the light slipping through your fingers.

Even though she was so powerful, her short mortal life could not remain by his side long enough to witness Liyue's rise and fall.

Morax had an excellent memory, but even he had nearly forgotten the details of her face over the long years. He remembered only that she often sat on her spear, kicking her legs as she turned to him with a smile.

But last night, Morax had an unusual dream of a time before Liyue Harbor was established. When he woke the next day, he felt a long-dormant contract come back to life.

As if to make up for the thousands of years of emptiness, his divine power was rapidly draining away through the contract.

Morax, now known as Zhongli, sat beneath an osmanthus tree, holding a cup of tea without setting it down for a long time. At last, through the contract, he received confirmation that she had eaten and drunk her fill, replenished by his divine power.

Three thousand five hundred years... After three thousand five hundred years, have you finally returned to my side?

CP: Zhongli

The female lead's memories return gradually. She doesn't recognize Zhongli at first. In her previous life, she was a naive girl who hadn't realized her feelings.
