[Main Story Complete]
New story, The All-Round Manager of Nekoma, is now open. Everyone is welcome to check it out ww
Blurb:
As he lay dying, Hoshino Shiri wanted to live. He got his wish and arrived in Yokohama, a city that never knew a moment of peace, where he was condemned to the miserable life of working for a fanfiction System.
The fanfiction System loved digging holes it never filled. It had forcibly mashed together the settings of two worlds for the sake of a gimmick, but lacked the ability to make it all make sense. So it had no choice but to drag in some random person, make him both the protagonist and the author, and somehow keep the story going.
Looking at the clear-eyed, bright-future sports boys the System offered him to choose from, Hoshino Shiri couldn't help thinking that he'd go to hell for this after he died.
But he didn't want to die all over again, either. So he put the art of bluffing to good use, leading his kids in and out of the main plot's periphery. As long as he made the occasional appearance around key story events, he could merge the settings and raise the kids in peace. Easy.
Then one day, Hoshino Shiri discovered a serious problem: the plot he'd just finished was actually moving on its own!
A mundane background setting drew in a psychologically disturbed serial killer.
A criminal they'd easily arrested the day before suddenly turned out to have a highly intelligent accomplice who'd never shown his hand.
[Fan comics need buzz. Stirring up trouble is the System's job.]
[You can't die anyway, so why not cooperate?] the System said.
Faced with a System that lived for amusement, Hoshino Shiri waved his hand and bought an expensive item from the System shop: a glittering magic wand and replica Clow Cards.
If someone had to stir up trouble, why let others do it when he could do it himself? From now on, he would be a magician hiding his identity and founding an organization in Yokohama!
"Haikyuu Orphanage. What a strange name." A mysterious orphanage appeared in the outskirts of Yokohama.
The orphanage's director was a polite, gentle, beautiful boy, though he seemed to have terrible luck. He was always getting into trouble through no fault of his own, and every child he adopted had a complicated past. One after another, they also awakened rare supernatural abilities.
The orphanage soon became the most talked-about place in all of Yokohama. This resource known as supernatural abilities turned the usually quiet, three-story building into a target for everyone.
But no one had told them that the orphanage director was actually a powerful magician with unclear motives and a real talent for causing trouble!
The "Three-Part Framework" was shattered, and every organization in Yokohama, along with those who came to the city, was busy dealing with the trouble caused by the magician and his kids:
The Port Mafia's armory would turn into a candy house every now and then; the Guild's Moby Dick became a maze of traps; and the Armed Detective Agency's "Book" vanished on the spot. By the time it showed up again, it had become a tool the magician could use to keep all of Yokohama in line.
Yokohama entered its most chaotic, yet safest, era. At the end of the story, the magician used himself as the price to put an early end to every regret.
"I will bring peace to this world."
A note from the author:
1. I'll try to update daily, usually at 9 p.m. I'll post a leave notice if anything comes up.
2. This is essentially a lighthearted power fantasy. The logic may not be airtight, but no matter what happens along the way, it will have a happy ending.
3. The magic system borrows from the CLAMP series. The main story follows a magician dad raising Haikyuu kids as they try to survive in Yokohama's wilderness (not really). No romance.
4. The story picks up after the end of the first season of the Bungo Stray Dogs anime. You can enjoy it without reading the original, and it doesn't involve the original Haikyuu plot.
Upcoming story, The All-Round Manager of Nekoma:
One day, Nekoma High finally got a full-time manager: a transfer student in his second year.
The new manager was good-looking, smart, good-natured, and quick to learn. Apart from not fulfilling some people's wish for a beautiful female manager, he was a complete all-rounder.
No one knew why he seemed to know the Nekoma captain and brain so well. For a while, people thought he was some kind of rabid fan who'd come out of nowhere.
Then one day, they found what was supposedly a childhood photo of the new manager. The setter with the pudding-bowl haircut thought he looked familiar, while a certain captain was horrified.
"Is this your little sister?" Nekoma's captain held up the photo and shoved it in front of the new manager.
The new manager didn't bat an eye. "That's me."
"Aren't you a boy?"
"I was sickly when I was little, so I was raised as a girl."
"Weren't you called Kohana as a kid?"
"A lowly name helps you grow up healthy."
That wasn't all. They also discovered that their so-called manager could unleash a spike powerful enough to shake the entire gym.
"You can play volleyball too. Why did you apply to be the manager?"
"Well, weren't you short a manager?"
At some point, a legend about Nekoma's manager began spreading among Tokyo's schools.
They said this manager had the brains to handle every aspect of team support and the brawn to step onto the court and spike the ball so hard it could fly through a brick wall.
One day, a libero whose arms had nearly broken from receiving spikes finally couldn't take it anymore and shouted across the net, "Why don't you play as a regular?"
The boy who'd just spiked the ball without mercy answered earnestly, "I've had surgery. I can't do strenuous exercise."
Reader's guide:
1. The protagonist is not your typical sickly character. He was ill in the past and recovered after surgery, but can't do strenuous exercise for long periods.
2. A lighthearted power fantasy. The protagonist picks up anything he studies in no time. He's a genius and a hard worker, talented and relentlessly driven.
3. No romance. Ship whoever you like, but don't be too loud about it.

It's hard to guess, emmmmm. There are many attack cards that can be used, and the combined effect is very powerful. It's a time card.
