[Hate That the Bright Moon Hangs High, Shining on Everyone but Me] [Literature] [Branching Endings, 1v1]
Fuyuki Nozomi is the sixth executive of the Port Mafia. Though he has no title as an executive, everyone in the organization considers him to be as vital as its roots, with a standing second only to the boss.
Fuyuki Nozomi has a secret: he is a transmigrator, and Yokohama has more than one transmigrator.
It seems that every transmigrator except him has a mission to win someone over.
"A newcomer with an ability. Their target is Osamu."
"Hmm... I think their last mission to win someone over failed. Should I lend a hand?"
"You can't just show up as a villain. That's no good."
Fuyuki Nozomi browsed the mission boards, taking in every task he came across.
He didn't mind.
"As long as they don't mean any harm," he said.
And so...
[The Transmigrators]
"I want to change my target. I'm going after Fuyuki Nozomi. I'm really scared having to walk around in front of Dazai every day!"
"? Is that a mission? That's a reward! If you're going for him, I want to as well."
[The Locals]
"Why do all these strange newcomers look at our Lord Fuyuki like that every day?"
"Don't take our organization's treasure away! Everyone, put in more effort!"
And so...
One day, Fuyuki Nozomi discovered that all the gifts that had been sorted into piles on his coworkers' desks each day had quietly been moved to his office.
His coworkers' gazes had also taken on a tender intimacy and hazy desire.
He had become everyone's target.
"So, since you've already noticed, Fuyuki, what are you going to do about it?" The boss summoned him to the office and asked for his thoughts.
Fuyuki Nozomi simply smiled. "...I know everyone just likes me."
"You don't seem to have much interest in romance, Fuyuki."
"Maybe it's because I already have someone I like."
"...Can you tell me who?"
"Yokohama."
Fuyuki Nozomi walked to the floor-to-ceiling window and looked down at the place he cherished.
This was the city he loved.
A few things to know before reading:
1. The protagonist is very strong, but he's neither a fighter nor a strategist. Maybe you could call him a softener? (laughs)
2. The protagonist is the devoted-to-everyone sort, with a bit of a natural knack for being wicked. He flirts with people and then refuses to take responsibility, so he says.
3. The main story only has romantic tension. The branching endings will come later, and the other halves are mostly characters from the original Bungo Stray Dogs.
Theme: Those who love others are always loved in return.
