My Years as President

No golden finger, no System. Five years after transmigrating, Luya was still a nameless girl at the very bottom of society in South Continent, with elders to support and children to care for, scraping by on one steamed bun every three days.

One day, Luya was being hunted by loan sharks. In desperation, she hid at the scene of a presidential election, ran onto the campaign stage, and pretended to wave her arms, asking everyone to vote for her presidential run.

She was only there to make up the numbers and had no psychological burden at all. Luya shouted the most earth-shattering, utterly outlandish campaign promises in history.

Overthrow the colonization of the Empire of North Continent, the greatest power in the stars!

Ban merfolk from coming ashore.

White Tiger clan members must wear beast-restraining rings when they go out!

All werewolves are forbidden from howling at the moon on the fifteenth of every month. No noise pollution!

All beastfolk must be restrained, so ordinary people can have room to live!

Bring manufacturing back home! Create more jobs for ordinary people!

Luya had no expectations. She was ready to be eliminated in the first round.

Her rivals looked down on her. Her rivals fought one another to the death. Her rivals... eliminated themselves???

In the first round of the election, the media exposed a rival's scandals, and they were out.

In the second round, the rivals exposed each other's scandals, and they were out.

In the final election, a rival had a heart attack, and they were out.

Just like that, fate ushered Luya into the presidency.

At first, Luya had resolved to speak up for the people and be a good president. But no matter what policies she proposed, the people below her opposed them.

One, two, three... They even opposed her eating egg fried rice!

Damn it!

A bunch of unruly citizens, unruly soldiers, unruly officials, unruly politicians!

I'm done with this.

Luya started slacking off and messing around without a plan. Unexpectedly, as she kept doing that, she became the greatest president South Continent had ever seen.

Luya: Heh, I didn't expect that either.

Theme: Just stay alive. Being happy matters most.
