★ A modern urban sweet romance about rekindled love
★ Tough with everyone else but a devoted husband vs. gentle, aloof and calculating
1.
Back in college,
Wen Yuting knew that his girlfriend, Shu Yin, didn’t really like him.
She’d only agreed to be his girlfriend after he’d begged and pleaded.
They made a deal: whenever Shu Yin fell for him, she had to stick a little red flower in their relationship journal that night.
Wen Yuting thought that once he filled the whole journal, Shu Yin would love him completely.
Unfortunately, when they graduated, Shu Yin didn’t want the journal covered in little red flowers.
And she didn’t want him anymore.
2.
Wen Yuting never imagined that the next time he saw Shu Yin, she’d be standing outside an educational institute, sticking little red flowers on another man’s hand.
Watching his ex-girlfriend smile brightly at another man, Mr. Wen, who was “not the smiling type,” coldly looked away.
But just as that charming figure was about to disappear from the rearview mirror, Wen Yuting ordered in a low voice, “Turn around. Go back!”
He got out and walked closer. The man was waving his hand, covered in little red flowers, and bragging to the child beside him. “You only have one little red flower. Big brother has five. That’s a lot, right?”
With a nasty snort, Wen Yuting pulled a gaudy little notebook from his pocket under Shu Yin’s astonished gaze.
His long, slender fingers turned the pages, revealing that every one was covered in little red flowers.
His tone was unbearably smug. “Just five? I don’t know what you’re bragging about.”
Shu Yin: I don’t know what either of you are competing over...
3.
Their mutual friends watched Wen Yuting grow more and more aloof, cold, and indifferent to others year after year after breaking up with Shu Yin, as if he’d shut down his emotional System.
Everyone agreed that Wen Yuting was a lost cause and would surely die alone.
Unless Shu Yin agreed to get back together with him.
But one day, when they went to the Wen Group to see Wen Yuting, they heard their good friend say something dripping with jealousy. Then another woman’s poised voice sounded from the office:
“Mr. Wen, would you like a little red flower?”
Just one sentence.
The footsteps approaching the door came to an abrupt halt.
Another day of Mr. Wen being completely wrapped around her finger.
[Bonus scene:]
It was night.
Wen Yuting held Shu Yin tightly in his arms, his desire burning fiercely.
He leaned over her, his hot breath brushing against her sensitive ear and sending a tingling shiver through her.
The man repeated over and over:
“Say you’re mine.”
“Say you haven’t forgotten me all these years.”
“Just try leaving me again.”
