Livestreaming My Cooking in a Survival Game

In the interstellar era, alien species have arrived.

The annual survival game is broadcast live.

During the qualifiers, the StarNet chat is in an uproar.

"This year's elimination round is in an A-rank restricted zone? That's nightmare difficulty."

"It's the habitat of the alien birds. Those birds love pecking out human eyeballs. I'm betting artificial eyes will get more expensive."

"Humans are trash anyway. Better to get them eliminated in the qualifiers as soon as possible."

The camera sweeps past contestants fleeing in panic as alien birds chase them, then suddenly stops. It quickly rewinds to a previous shot and zooms in.

In the woods sits a calm-looking human girl from Blue Star. An alien bird is tied over the portable campfire in front of her, rotating as it roasts, its outside crisp and its inside tender, with fragrant smoke curling into the air.

She takes down a branch skewering the meat, expertly sprinkles it with salt, squeezes on some fruit juice, wraps it in leaves, and takes a bite.

"Mm." As she eats the fragrant A-rank alien beast, she gives her verdict: "Pretty tender."

She looks puzzled.

"It's so tasty. How has it not been hunted to extinction?"

Everyone: "...?"

An A-rank alien beast whose hide can't even be pierced by ordinary bullets, hunted to extinction?

The translator must be broken. Is that even human language?

For a long time, the interstellar consensus was that people from Blue Star were weak and utterly incapable of putting up a fight.

Then, one year, a girl appeared out of nowhere.

In an A-rank restricted zone, she fought her way through the entire survival game alone and hung the head of a top-tier alien beast at the finish line.

Amid the blood and fire of the competition, she carved out a path with nothing but her own strength.

With her own power, she rewrote the legend.

1. A feel-good power fantasy, with a strong female lead.

2. Interstellar survival game; details and setting still being developed.
