The First Page of the Sword Manual Says to Kill Your Beloved

The great villain Jiang Shuhan has been reborn. In this life, he has decided to be a good person.

The scrawny child in a traveling opera troupe will become the infamous leader of the evil path, killing countless people and flying into unpredictable rages after suffering humiliation and learning the harsh realities of human nature as a youth.

In this life, when he is humiliated, an immortal with red robes and black hair descends from the clouds. Using a branch, he teaches him swordsmanship and that a true gentleman turns shame into courage. And when the boy first discovers love, the immortal frowns and turns his head aside, letting him kiss his dark temples.

The lowly, ill-omened prince in the cold palace will one day conquer Xiqi in four campaigns and unite the realm as its ruler by fate. Having never known what love looks like, he becomes cruel and merciless. The history books condemn him for waging endless wars, bringing misery to the people in times of both rise and fall. In this life, he fights the wild dogs in the cold palace for food, then sinks his teeth into the immortal's hand. The stern, cold immortal uses a whip to correct his many bad habits, turning him from a beast into a person.

The foremost warrior in the king's tent will become an invincible killing machine, loyal to the very end, and die for that loyalty. In this life, he rides across the grasslands and finds a beautiful black-haired man unconscious by the water. The man makes him defy the king's orders and spare the city's people beneath his sword. As the stream burbles, the man tilts his head back and holds him tight, scratching bloody marks into his back. The king orders him to kill the man, but he remains still for a long time. The king orders him to present the man as a tribute, and he enters the royal tent with his sword in hand.

After Jiang Shuhan had guided all the little villains who followed him in his previous life onto the path of goodness, he was quite pleased.

The final lesson he would teach them would be enough to make them famous throughout the world, have the people build statues in their honor, and earn them a lasting place in the history books.

That day, they all received the immortal's final message at the same time.

It contained only one instruction.

"Slay the villain Jiang Shuhan."
