The Substitute I Found Rose to Power by Force

Yan Feiyan has someone he likes. Every casual touch, every seemingly accidental handhold, is a test.

But the trouble is, the person in question hasn't noticed. His younger brother has.

Bo Tinghe watched Yan Feiyan offer a drink to his insufferable older brother. His fingers were slender and pale, and their little fingers were about to brush together by chance.

Bo Tinghe's teeth began to itch. He strode over, took Yan Feiyan's hand, and smiled. "How did you know I wanted this, Brother Feiyan? Then I won't stand on ceremony."

Yan Feiyan: "...?"

Yan Feiyan had thought Bo Tinghe simply disliked him flirting with his brother. It took several encounters for him to realize that Bo Tinghe disliked him flirting with anyone.

Bo Tinghe crouched in front of him, wearing a smile at an angle almost identical to his brother's. "I heard you can watch the fireworks at midnight from your home, Brother Feiyan. Can I come over and see them?"

Yan Feiyan sat on a barstool, his long legs stretching out naturally. He cupped his face in his cool, pale hands and smiled faintly. "What, do you like me?"

Bo Tinghe secretly brushed his cheek against Yan Feiyan's palm, the smile in his eyes growing more pronounced. "Yes. I like you, Brother. I like you best."

Yan Feiyan: "But I like your actual older brother."

Bo Tinghe kept his face tilted at the same angle as his brother's, his eyes darkening. "That's all right. I can be his stand-in. Once you and he get together, I'll leave on my own."

"You're so well-behaved." Yan Feiyan looked at the other man's wolf-cub gaze with interest, then nodded in agreement.

Yan Feiyan had known this wolf cub wouldn't behave, but he hadn't expected him to cling on like a wolf with a bone in its jaws, refusing to let go.

[The shou has already stopped liking the gong's older brother by the time he agrees to be with the gong.]

I keep feeling like there's half a blurb missing, so I'll have to revise it some more _(:з"∠)_
