Blurb for my next pre-release, Member Day, at the very bottom
-
This time, the interview subject was Liu Mo, a female calligrapher who had recently become a sensation.
On the day they met, Liu Mo wore a long Chinese-style dress, with a jade bangle patterned with mountains and water on her pale wrist.
Her voice was warm and gentle, and her smile was like the spring breeze rustling through willows. Her elegant face was as refined as the tea she served.
During the interview, Mu Yuxiao calmly recalled two things:
1. Their families were distantly related, but their relationship was as bad as sworn enemies. Liu Mo was rarely sincere or kind toward her.
2. A few years ago, after they had been drinking, the two of them had somehow spent the night together. Liu Mo told her not to take it to heart.
-
With no one else around, the calligrapher held a slender cigarette between her delicate fingers and asked the interviewer teasingly, "Drinking this time?"
Mu Yuxiao refused to back down. "Sure."
Waking up beside Liu Mo again, she thought that some calligraphy bloggers seemed pure and noble on the surface, but smoked, drank, and slept with women in private. If she wrote about it, it would surely be a bestseller.
Liu Mo saw right through her, wrapped an arm around her, and breathed against her ear. "Don't bring personal grudges into work."
Grudges?
She had been secretly in love with someone for years. Just when she'd thought she'd fallen out of love, she'd fallen for her all over again. But as far as the other woman was concerned, all they had were grudges.
She hadn't planned to see Liu Mo much after the interview, but soon discovered that the woman was everywhere.
She couldn't understand it. "What exactly are you trying to do?"
Liu Mo fixed her with a questioning gaze. "Do you like avoiding me that much?"
-
Later, Mu Yuxiao dipped her brush in ink and, using the technique Liu Mo had taught her, wrote the character "Spring" beneath Liu Mo's smooth shoulder.
"The thick ink surges silently, concealing a pool of spring longing that grows unchecked."
[Younger woman, mutual pining.]

Member Day* Absent-minded, overconfident younger woman seeking new experiences x naturally unsmiling older woman, who initially gives herself up for the sake of a place to stay, then actively pursues her wife
Zhan Qiu worked at a convenience store. Since last week, a new customer had been coming in frequently.
Her polished appearance made it easy to tell she was a high-powered professional.
Her presence was like a midday sky just after the snow had stopped: crisp, still, with a hint of warmth that was limited but captivating.
There was one thing worth mentioning: she was probably interested in Zhan Qiu. Every time she checked out, she stared at Zhan Qiu, wanting to speak but holding back.
One day, she finally spoke up. "You look familiar. Have we met before?"
Zhan Qiu's lips curled up at the hook. "I don't think so. You're so beautiful, though. Even if I'd only seen you once, I wouldn't have forgotten you."
Shen Qingci's gaze turned even colder.
-
Half a year earlier, while traveling, Shen Qingci had met a woman.
The moonlight dissolved into the damp, gloomy rainy season, stirring up a vast tide of pent-up longing and pleasure.
The rain had been pouring down. Before the woman left, Shen Qingci's heart softened, and she lent her a special umbrella that meant a great deal to her.
Afterward, her beloved umbrella vanished without a trace.
Six months later, they met again. Shen Qingci thought the other woman would explain and apologize. Instead, she heard: "Hello. It's Member Day. Buy one, get one free."
-
Shen Qingci didn't believe her, but Zhan Qiu really had forgotten. She'd suffered a fright six months earlier, and her doctor had said it was perfectly normal to forget things.
"Let's exchange contact information first."
"I'll help you look for it. Maybe one day you'll remember."
One way to recover memories was to repeat things they'd done before. The two of them tacitly went along with it.
Back to the endless rainy season.
-
"It's Member Day. Buy strawberry milk and get the prettiest clerk for free. How about it?"
"I'd like to cancel my membership."
Later, those words came true. Zhan Qiu returned the umbrella to her and decided to cancel her from her heart.
Shen Qingci realized that the umbrella wasn't what she cared about anymore.
"I'd like to sign up again. Not a regular membership. I want premium."
"Every day is Member Day."
Theme: Learn calligraphy well, promote traditional culture, and move toward a bright future
I read three books in three weeks in a row, "I Have a Guest", "Spring in the Dark" and "Summer Lies" (ongoing). Each of the three books has its own merits. In terms of character setting, story background, etc., This one is currently the most impressive to me. If the beginning of the plot of "I Have a Guest" is accompanied by joyful and absurd "chickens and dogs", the beginning of this story is full of humidity and darkness, and the overall atmosphere in the middle and later stages is full of absurd humor. Although the two people are not related by blood, the thought of them "calling the same curly aunt aunt", this "taboo" is still a bit exciting XD. Although the setting of relatives who are not on good terms makes them suffer in the story, every time they meet by chance, their parents and relatives use their mobile phones to take pictures and send them to the family group, which really makes them laugh [crying with laughter]
Because the article is mainly written from Xiaoxiao's perspective, Liu Mo initially gave me the impression of being a bit mysterious and a "bad woman" who likes to play with people's hearts (not in a derogatory sense). But as Xiaoxiao and Liu Mo came into contact more and more, just as Xiaoxiao thought, looking beyond her past memories, Liu Mo was a beautiful, enterprising and well-rounded person. When Liu Mo thought it was fun to tease Xiaoxiao when he was a student, because the relationship between the two families was not good, and because his mother complained from time to time, it still affected Xiaoxiao to a certain extent. I thought some of Liu Mo's actions at that time were "bad". When I saw this, I suddenly had a feeling of enlightenment. I thought about when I was a child, I went to visit relatives with my parents during the Chinese New Year, and listened to adults commenting on this and that at the dinner table. Although I was not familiar with it, I heard it. It was also an opportunity to form the first vague impression of others. In fact, sometimes things get really strange in the circle of relatives. When they get together, they feel more performative, and their judgments of people are biased. Fortunately, both Liu Mo and Xiaoxiao feel very "stable" and have a stable core. After dating, their relationship is stable and reassuring😌. Even when he came out, Liu Mo calmly changed his name to "Aunt Zhang" and was humorous. Cousins who are not related by blood are not a kind of love [dog head holding a rose]
Very beautiful! ! ! Like it very much! What I like most after reading the whole text is the author's delicate writing style and delicate emotional expression and narrative. Sometimes I forget that this is actually a same-sex love - they are actually a pair of ordinary young lovers, even more delicate, gentle and considerate than heterosexuals, and they will not feel violated by the natural strength of men. Love it, love it
Finally, after reading this book, I like Zhouzhou's writing as always. I'm really not suitable for catching up on updates. It's really painful for me to wait for updates. It's easy to wait for updates but I don't have the time or energy to calm down and read a book. My life and work have been changing in the past three years, and I am constantly adapting. I don't know if it is because of this. In the second half of last year, my whole state was not right, and I had some psychological problems. Now I am taking medicine to adjust. Zhou's words always make me feel something. I really like the feeling that these words accompany me, allowing me to put aside the trivialities of life and hide in the world of words to heal. Come on Zhouzhou, I will support you as always. See you on "Member Day". . .
The emotions are so delicately written, so beautiful and I love watching them [Come on]
Finished. Thank you for your companionship. The author's writing style is really good. The beauty of the description is as if I have witnessed it with my own eyes. There are many analyzes in the article. Some of the sentences made me feel the same. To read the author's article, you really need to be patient and read it carefully to experience the plain but beautiful love in it. [Comparison] "cousins" must continue to be happy.
Very beautiful, very delicate [Purple Sugar] kswl
After watching the ink color, I really have no choice but to follow up [Lie flat]
Do you want to make a side story for this article [empty bowl][empty bowl][empty bowl]
Every conversation between the two of them surprises me hahahaha [orange candy] I got [purple candy] kswl
It's nice to read. Zhou's writing is suitable for calming down and reading slowly~
