[Haikyuu!!] My Own Personal Sun

[The story is being revised. Please refer to the blurb for the plot.]

My name is Matsumoto Kanon. I'm 170 centimeters tall and weigh 170 kilograms. I'm shaped like a square.

But weighing 170 kilograms isn't my biggest secret. My biggest secret is that I'm in love with the boy next door, who's only as tall as my eyes.

He's only 164.2 centimeters tall, but his radiance is dazzling! (shouting)

Daichi heard that the girls' team had a powerful spiker, a girl who could hit the ball harder than almost anyone. Curious, he brought the whole team to watch.

The moment he opened the door, Tanaka and Nishinoya, who had been chattering away, fell silent.

That tall, broad-shouldered figure leaped at the net and smashed down a ball with tremendous force.

"Amazing!" Hinata's eyes lit up, and his praise rang through the gym.

The next second, they saw the figure hit the ground even harder than the ball, headfirst.

Kanon shed a tear: Does anyone else get it? Why did I have to run into my crush at the most humiliating point in my weight-loss journey?!

After successfully losing weight, Kanon became a tall, slender beauty.

She had suitors everywhere, but there was only one person in her eyes.

Everyone knew it. The only one who didn't was that silly orange-haired boy... though his equally silly partner might not have realized it either.

Kageyama thought Hinata had been distracted lately. With the national tournament coming up, he needed to give him a good talking-to.

"Hey, why are you always spacing out lately?"

Hinata, who had been searching the stands for someone, spun around in a panic and denied it loudly. "I'm not!"

Then he saw Kanon standing in the doorway, smiling and waving at him.

Shoyo touched his nose, then broke into an even brighter smile.

As for Kageyama, he suddenly noticed his teammate rapidly putting distance between them.

Kageyama: ?

Tsukishima covered his ears in the distance and looked up at the sky.

As everyone knows, if you interrupt a couple, you'll get struck by lightning.

[Happy ending, a sugary-sweet little story, pure sweetness]

Theme: The sun is the source of all life.
