Let's Eat Well Today, Too

Su Ran, a third-rate actress mocked across the internet for her terrible acting, turned down some work offers due to health issues and went to stay in the countryside with her maternal grandmother for a few months.

When she first arrived in Lotus Village, she found it remote, with muddy roads and mud splattered up her pant legs. It was pitch-dark at night, and she couldn't imagine staying there for even a day.

The scenery was nice, and the food was good too: sweet, tender corn, juicy sweet-and-sour tomatoes...

Today, her dark-skinned childhood friend brought her beef brisket stewed with carrots. Tomorrow, it was shrimp. The day after, nourishing old hen soup... Meal by meal, she put on weight and regained the energy to make a fuss.

Only after their souls switched did she learn that the dark-skinned childhood friend who was always at odds with her had secretly been in love with her all along...

At first, the dark-skinned childhood friend said, "Su Ran, nobody is born to give in to you and wait on you."

Later, the childhood friend said, "Let me take care of you! Nobody can do it better than me!!"

Theme: Good food can heal the soul.
