Lustful Moonlight

Meizhen grew up in the mountains. After graduating from high school, her family planned to marry her off.

Her childhood sweetheart, Song Qiang, took her and ran away to the city.

Song Qiang was a driver for the renowned Shao family, ferrying their head, Shao Beian, around every day.

At Song Qiang's plea, Shao Beian let Meizhen move into the Shao family home, where she worked as a housekeeper while continuing her studies.

The peaceful days passed, until one day Song Qiang came stumbling over to find her.

"Azhen, Mr. Shao agreed to promote me." His face was full of alarm. "But there's a condition: you have to be with him."

In Meizhen's eyes, Shao Beian was a god who lived above the clouds.

A god who could do anything, yet would occasionally stop in front of her, offer her kindness, and ask about her studies.

Until the day Song Qiang came stumbling over to find her.

She walked slowly into Shao Beian's study and raised a pair of bewildered eyes.

He reached out to her, his gaze gentle yet full of intimidation.

"Xiaozhen, you've finally come."
