She Couldn't Handle It

He Bi's hotel hired a new receptionist, who went straight to the point and said she'd come to pursue the boss.

She drove to pick He Bi up when he had a late-night business engagement. She came over to cook when his stomach hurt. She even went with him to nightclubs.

One night, while drunk, He Bi looked at the bright-eyed, beautiful woman who had been taking such good care of him. Thinking she was pretty nice, he twirled a strand of her hair around his finger and said with a smile, "We can date, but we'll only talk money, not love."

He had made himself perfectly clear. To his surprise, she smiled radiantly and said, "Sure."

Later, one day, she smiled through red-rimmed eyes and said, "Let's stop. I can't play this game anymore."

Actually, she had been unable to play along ten years ago.
