The Death Processing Department

A mysterious creature descended upon Earth. After breaking through the human mind's defenses, it burrowed into the body, devoured the internal organs, drained the blood, and took complete control of the brain. Humanity named them the Devourers.

To maintain public order and protect human lives, countries around the world urgently established departments for dealing with the dead.

Ling Su, head of the Linhai City Department of Death Disposal, was the world's only Level Two mutant.

Later, an institution called the National Capital Institute was established in his territory. Its highest-ranking official was a gorgeous man named Bai Yu, known for his ruthless, cold-blooded style...

Rumor had it that the two were like fire and water, constantly at odds.

Ling Su: "What the hell! Why do I like him more and more the longer I look at him?! Why do I feel so restless when I haven't seen him for a few days?!"

Bai Yu: "Get lost. Stay away from me..."

Later, the gorgeous official somehow got pregnant. The very next day, Minister Ling proudly announced that he'd already chosen a name for their baby!

A powerful, utterly unique-taste, hopelessly face-obsessed, self-deluded top x a sharp-witted, ruthless, suit-wearing, abstinent official

Reader's Guide:

1. This is pure fantasy, completely detached from reality. I made up a creature called a Devourer.

2. There is a pregnancy plot, but this is not ABO. The high-ranking official simply undergoes a mutation.

This book has been on hiatus for so long, but I'm not planning to abandon it! It's because I, a fickle woman, came up with new ideas for the original outline. (This is the first novel I've written with an outline, after all~~) I want to revise the later plot, and I've gotten stuck in a period of indecision and back-and-forth. So I'll have to leave this one here for now, finish starting these two books, My Little Husband and Seeking Bones, and then come back to wrap this one up. Sorry about that, but I can promise I won't leave it unfinished.
