[FGO Watch Party] Master Candidate No. 48

Cheng Jun's Master Candidate No. 48 is amazing. It's on Jinjiang, and I recommend it to everyone!

My writing is terrible, nowhere near a fraction as good as Cheng Jun's. I'm writing this just for love of the original, and I'm well aware that, to some extent, this fic is riding on its popularity. OOC is inevitable. I'm open to advice and suggestions, but I'm a little sensitive, so please feel free to point out problems, just don't yell at me.

The story features a second-loop Guda.

They arrive at a movie theater, where they meet the light of humanity.

Don't try to find logic in any of this. There isn't any.

I'm writing this solely as a reaction fic for Master Candidate No. 48. The headcanons needed for a reaction fic don't matter. There's no overarching plot outside the viewing. This is just a reaction fic for the sake of reactions.

These headcanons simply combine the basic setup of a reaction fic with the Fate setting.

Reader's guide:

1. Timeline:

In FGO, Olga Marie has just finished a meeting and sent Ritsuka Fujimaru out.

In FSN, nearly everyone has summoned a Servant.

(Exactly which FSN route it is doesn't matter much. I won't write about their romances.)

Worldline (this doesn't matter, so please don't get hung up on it):

The worldline is at the beginning of the second loop in Master Candidate No. 48.

The Guda watching is an ordinary person with no memories of either loop.

Since it's the beginning of the second loop, there's actually no difference between the viewers from the first and second loops, but someone asked, so I thought I'd mention it.

Although this is the second-loop worldline, for the sake of the viewing experience, I've made up the detail that the original story's somewhat incomplete "reset" is a complete reset here. (In other words, the Servants don't know Guda.)

This is for the viewing experience, so don't get hung up on the logic.

This is purely for watching, with no other main plot. I have no plans to write a complete story alongside it. These details are made up solely to improve the overall experience, and the logic behind them isn't important.

I really don't want to waste any more brain cells on this. Coming up with a reasonable setup is hard. Just go with it, and don't read if that bothers you.

7. There are a lot of viewers, so I can't write everyone's reactions, and there are some characters whose reactions I can't imagine. If you think someone would react a certain way at a particular point, tell me in the comments and I'll add it.

8. The viewers will stick to the original pairings. There won't be any other pairings.
