[Crossover] Gudao Is Still Recruiting Team A in Another World Today

This novel is also known as The Great Adventures of Fujimaru Ritsuka in Another World

Cyber-era shameful old work. I'll lock it once I come to my senses. Right now I'm in the phase where I want to delete it and rewrite it all, but can't be bothered to start. I don't really want to give up on this idea (sigh).

(Content warning: I'll give Guda some cheats and add lots of headcanons, plus some abilities I think make sense. I'm a Guda fan, so there's no way I'd torment Guda. This is probably a Gary Stu + Mary Sue-style Guda story. Everyone loves our Grand Succubus Guda.)

The journey to save the world must eventually end. Fujimaru Ritsuka returned to his faithful Chaldea in Antarctica, the place where the dream began.

Everything had changed.

When he stepped through Chaldea's doors again, he could no longer see the staff who had spent seven singularities with him.

When he opened his bedroom door, no voice came to reproach him in alarm.

The loss was irreparable...

Was it really impossible to undo?

Fujimaru Ritsuka heard the voices of Alaya and Gaia,

ethereal yet moving.

They said, Go on, my child. What you wish for must be accomplished by your own hand.

And so Fujimaru Ritsuka stepped into a new world and began a new journey.

If Fujimaru Ritsuka is not the savior of the world, then the term has no meaning.

In the world of ninjas, he found Ophelia, beloved by the Moon Goddess, and Beryl, who had done every evil deed imaginable.

In Gotham, a city comparable to the criminal capital of Shinjuku, he found the out-of-place Kirschtaria.

In Ikebukuro, full of tales of the Headless Rider, he found the elusive Daybit.

In the foggy city of the nineteenth century, he met Pepe, caught up in a murder case.

(The order above isn't the order I'll write them in. It mostly depends on where inspiration strikes me first.)

He'll bring them back to Chaldea, gather all seven members of Team A, and summon the Doctor.

After enduring so much and recovering his memories, Fujimaru Ritsuka looked at Chaldea and the Honmaru and sighed: The Honmaru really is better. In Chaldea, I have to go out and do everything myself. At the Honmaru, I can stay in while the swords handle everything. Food appears when I want it, and I don't have to lift a finger ( ).

Besides, the swords know how to keep their fights in check. At least in the sparring hall, they don't destroy the Honmaru over every little thing.

The swords: Exactly, exactly. Master, just stay at the Honmaru and don't go back to that Chaldea place. Even if they were your former masters, they can't take our Master away from us.

Why should the newcomers get the upper hand? The ones who came first are the ones fighting and competing for him.

The Heroic Spirits: Damn, they stole our home!

Jack: Mama, don't you want us anymore? (teary-eyed)

Ran Fujisawa: Master, Master, do you think this skirt looks cute on me?

Guda: Open your eyes and look properly! That's Hao Asakura, Ha-o A-sa-ku-ra. He's not your nemesis, Abe no Seimei!

Caster Hao Asakura: That being the case, it is true that I share the same origins as the Abe you speak of.

Young Professor: Strictly speaking, we're the same species. (Reads the newspaper, sips tea, looks up.)

Old Professor: Even so, that younger version of me is the leader of an evil organization. If little Ritsuka likes him so much, then come learn from me how to become a proper evil organization leader. We're the same person, aren't we?

Old Professor's thoughts: I finally got Sherlock from Chaldea out of the way, and now another, even younger one shows up. Damn it.

Reader's Guide:

0. There are original characters, and they have plenty of scenes. Guda is unquestionably the protagonist, and the original-character plotlines all serve Fujimaru Ritsuka.

1. All for Fujimaru Ritsuka.

2. Author's notes may sometimes contain spoilers or reveal a few details when explaining the setting. I'll mark those notes at the end of the chapter.

3. I have absolutely no idea how to write a blurb. Maybe this blurb has little to do with the actual story, haha. Sometimes my pen has ideas of its own, and there's nothing I can do about it (shrugs).

4. Unless something unexpected happens, there will definitely be OOC moments. If someone acts OOC, feel free to say so in the comments, and please tell me what feels off. I'll do my best to fix it!

Everyone in the story is written according to my own interpretation. I'm trying hard not to make Guda look like an empty avatar, but I can't tell for sure whether I've succeeded in keeping everyone in character.

7. My writing isn't great, and I'm a beginner, so advice would be very welcome. I hope you'll offer me guidance.

10. Feel free to suggest scenes, Heroic Spirits, swords, or other characters you'd like to see. If I can, I'll do my best to include them (I may have just revealed that I have no backlog).

11. This is my take on Guda. Guda has a lot of headcanons in this story.

The timeline is after Fujimaru Ritsuka finishes Lostbelt 7, but before the Ordeal Call and final chapter.

Officially, Guda seems to be in their twenties after clearing Part 2. But I like the idea of a high schooler saving the world, so in this story Guda is 17. It's probably not that important, so don't worry about the logic ( ).

12. My headcanons are everywhere. Anything that doesn't match the original is usually my own headcanon, including some settings I didn't understand and my take on the Counter Force.

13. The first man referenced in the theme should be easy to figure out. The second is the captain. I once read that the captain is the one who died for me (Guda), my beloved white moonlight.

The serious theme: One sentence about wanting to save the world together with everyone in Team A gave my brain cells a fatal blow (not really).

(P.S. Writing a story from scratch is exhausting for the brain.)

14. Feel free to suggest any worlds you'd like me to cross over with. If I've seen them, I'll write them. If I haven't but I'm interested, I'll catch up on them.

15. Updates whenever I feel like it. I'll write when I have time. I have no backlog, so I'll post as I write. If there are more comments, I'll update more often.

16. There are lots of anime planned for crossovers. For now, the list includes Shaman King, Naruto, Durarara!!, Moriarty the Patriot, FGO, and some of the Fate series. For Western works, DC is confirmed for now, and more may be added later.

You don't need to know the source material to follow along. The arcs aren't closely connected, so you can skip any of them (just use the volumes to jump around). If you haven't seen something but want to understand the full story, ask about any confusing details in the comments. I'll explain when I see them.

17. Don't worry about Touken Ranbu being a low-power setting among the crossovers. After the recent Touken Ranbu updates, all I can say is, our little short swords are each as fast as the Flash. (If that's not their official power level, just consider it my headcanon.)
