I Transmigrated and Became a Dandy

(Main story complete) Ji Rui transmigrated to the Great Sheng Dynasty and became the son of the eldest princess. In his previous life, he worked himself to death. In this life, he only wanted to eat, drink, have fun, and enjoy life as a carefree playboy. But... as Ji Rui watched things unfold, he began to feel that his life as a playboy wasn't going quite as planned... Because his own grandfather, the Duke Who Guards the Nation, commanded a great army, and his own father, General Ningyuan, had a fearsome military record. Yet both of them were doting daughters' men and overprotective brothers. Even worse, his aunt, the Noble Consort, had lost her mind and actually wanted to seize the throne! His maternal uncle, the emperor, was not only in his prime and clear-headed, but also a ruthless ruler. And his princely cousins were no pushovers either. Even their mothers had more sense than his aunt, the Noble Consort. Ji Rui thought his aunt was deluding herself. To make the self-destructive Ji family come to their senses, Ji Rui decided not only to be a playboy himself, but also to bring his aunt's young son along, and stay firmly on the playboy path without turning back. The throne? Power? What were those compared with good food, fun, and a comfortable life? Later, his Ninth Prince cousin, who had gradually been led astray, said, "Cousin, you're so right!" The Ji family: "..." What was the point of carrying on like this? Later, Ji Rui clung tightly to the emperor's coattails. His "deep father-son bond" with the emperor made even the princes jealous. The advisers serving the princes considered having Ji Rui help them fight for the throne. But when the princes saw that Ji Rui did nothing but act spoiled and indulge himself, and that their father had spoiled him rotten, they all snuffed out that absurd idea. Just as Ji Rui was enjoying a carefree life on the playboy path, the succession struggle came to an end before he even realized it. To his even greater surprise, the throne was about to come crashing down on the head of the playboy cousin who had been following him around. His cousin, who couldn't do a thing right, grabbed Ji Rui's hand. "Cousin, I'm so nervous. What should I do?" Ji Rui: "..." I'm nervous too! And so, when fate mercilessly shoved Ji Rui into the position of regent, The Outcast, second only to one and above all others, he took the young emperor's hand and angrily raised a polite finger at the heavens. As for his grandfather and father, who had only just managed to give up their ambitions for power: "..." Should we make a comeback? P.S.: An imaginary dynasty, entirely fictional. A somewhat ensemble cast, slow-burn pacing, and a focus on raising a child in the early chapters. The protagonist may or may not have a romance. A warm, humorous slice-of-life story, with a little palace intrigue and political scheming mixed in. Not a kingdom-building power fantasy. The protagonist has a golden finger, a huge one. The author may occasionally drop bonus skits in the author's notes. Hope you enjoy the story, dear readers, and thanks for your support! (Oh, by the way, the young emperor Ji Rui ends up holding hands with isn't his Ninth Prince cousin, and isn't the son of Consort Ji.) Theme: The most important thing in life is to be happy.
