My Ailing Teacher Keeps Teasing Me

"Fake teacher-student relationship, rekindled love, becoming the other woman for love" Looks like a well-behaved girl, but is actually a stubborn mule with plenty of drive: Tan Shan vs. Sickly and wheezing every few steps, but very good at taking charge: Chen Zhibai [The story has been revised. Comments on the opening chapters are welcome.] Blurb: Seven years ago, after the college entrance exams, Tan Shan had a bittersweet secret affair with her teacher, Chen Zhibai. In the end, Chen Zhibai dumped her, and her first love came to nothing. When they meet again years later, her teacher is still sickly and pale, seemingly cold and indifferent to everyone. He only smiles at the pretty woman by his side. Word has it that the woman is his lover. Tan Shan scoffs. Seeing her is so difficult that she has to trick her into coming by pretending she's getting engaged. She thought she could provoke her teacher, but Chen Zhibai gives as good as she gets. Neither of them lets the other go. - Later, Tan Shan travels with her project team. As they arrive at their campsite, an off-road vehicle rolls through the dirt. She looks up and sees a woman in a windbreaker get out. It's Chen Zhibai. Chen Zhibai acts as if they're meeting for the first time and greets her with polite formality: “Tan, it's a pleasure to work with you.” Only then does Tan Shan learn that Chen Zhibai has been invited to join their team for three months. Tan Shan finally admits that she isn't engaged. Pretending to be nonchalant, she refuses to put herself at a disadvantage and says plainly that she won't pursue Chen Zhibai any further. But the Chen Zhibai who once couldn't wait to get rid of her unexpectedly takes the initiative and comes closer. They hold hands, embrace, and whisper sweet nothings. At last, they kiss, just as they did seven years ago. "If the past is still worth longing for, don't rush to forgive and forget" Chen Zhibai's perspective: I finally found my wife, but why does she have a fiancée? I follow her around, only to find out she doesn't have a fiancée after all! But what does she mean, she won't pursue me? Then I'll pursue her. I pursue her properly, and she finally agrees to get back together with me. But why is she so distant? Wait, why does my wife think she's the other woman? Why does she want to break up?
