Narcissus and the Serpent

Lin Qiu has a mirror that he never lets anyone touch. His beloved lives inside it.

One day, his beloved steps out of the mirror.

They fall in love.

A narcissistic bottom x a cold, gloomy, hopelessly lovesick top

Original title: "The Daffodil and the Snake"

Neither lead is perfect.

Content warnings:

1. Faux narcissism (emphasis!!!). The bottom hasn't truly fallen in love with himself in the romantic sense; he's just ill.

2. The bottom is very narcissistic and jealous.

3. The bottom only loves himself. Later, he will spare the top a little attention, but himself remains the one he loves most.

4. The top is hopelessly lovesick and has psychological issues. He will weave lies to get the bottom. The top only loves the bottom, only loves the bottom, only loves the bottom.

5. The top has not had plastic surgery.

6. The top will praise the bottom's looks because the bottom likes it.

7. One-on-one romance.

8. A story written to indulge my own tastes.

9. More to be added if I think of anything.
