This book is pretty average, so I don't recommend reading it. Check out my ongoing novel, Accidentally Meeting the Bug Emperor After Signing a Contract.
After the college entrance exam, Le Henian (Bichet Laiyaersen) was doing construction work when he was unfortunately born into the insect world, where females reign supreme. He was sent to a male insect training camp to learn how to cook and be a good husband.
When he came of age, he joined a selection event and fell in love with the sub-female insect who chose him. He heard the insect was a noble young master.
Unfortunately, after choosing a consort, that sub-female insect left the planet to go to war. When he returned, he'd forgotten that he'd once chosen a consort. He didn't take Le Henian home, either.
By the time Bichet Laiyaersen was finally brought home by the sub-female insect, he was mixed in with a group of male insects. The sub-female insect who was supposed to be his had brought back a whole carriage full of male pets, and he was just one of them.
At the time, Major General Kamen Yin thought the male insect he'd brought home was an ordinary F-rank male. He had no idea this was an ultra-S-rank male who would stir up a storm.
-
The major general meets a strange male insect. The little male clearly likes him, yet won't even hold his hand. But whenever he's called, he comes right away, walking around campus with him day and night and watching him quietly.
He can't understand what the little male says, things like "There's plenty of time ahead of us..."
But that doesn't stop them from walking together, growing closer with every step. He can vaguely sense the meaning behind the little male's words about having plenty of time ahead.
Then their peaceful life is suddenly shattered.
How could he have imagined the despair of the day his little male was identified as an SSS-rank male, surrounded by a crowd of noble female insects in heat?
Bonus Scene:
The little male promised to stay with the major general through his heat, but when the major general goes into heat, he dashes off... to buy suppressants!
The little male presses the suppressants into the major general's palm, then slams the door shut!
Outside the door, the little male pants heavily. He can smell a deliciously sweet scent, and his body is inexplicably burning up.
He doesn't dare touch himself at all. His mind is filled with images of the major general: beautiful and dazzling, clothes in disarray, cheeks flushed, asking in a tearful voice, "Where did you go?"
It's so tempting. He nearly loses control and can't get out!
Touching himself now would be a desecration of the major general!
Inside, the major general in heat stares blankly at the suppressants the male insect placed in his palm, smelling the faint trace of the male's pheromones left in the air and greedily trying to console himself.
Little male's inner thoughts: I'm incredibly reliable. The moment my wife needs me, I bring him suppressants!
Major general's inner thoughts: I'll let you off this time!
One-on-one romance, poor but brilliant seme vs noble and open-minded uke. Early on, he watches others flirt with his husband without blushing or batting an eye.
An entirely fictional setting with no relation to reality. Please don't compare it to real life.
About this novel
Lots of original worldbuilding. I'm making it up as I go. A story about secret crushes and first love, very much a platonic romance early on.
There are three kinds of insects: male, female, and sub-female. Male insects are bigger than females. The author isn't really into muscular ukes.
In the insect-world setting, male insects are semes.
The plot makes no sense. It's all for the sake of these two insects.
Both are strong. It's just that the seme doesn't know this society very well early on.
Seme or uke perspectives are just a matter of viewpoint for the author, with no preference either way.
Oh, oh, oh, maybe there'll be egg-carrying but no giving birth. I just kind of want a big belly, cough, cough...
The cover isn't exclusive. I'll buy it if it looks good.
My farming novel next door, The Poor Scholar and His Lovely Husband, is now available. Please send roast duck!
Theme: If you can't manage your own home, how can you manage the world?
I really can't stand it anymore, I feel like I will get breast cancer 💔 after reading it. I am super frustrated. I especially hate Jiang Yun. I hate Jiang Yun so much. I am a person who really hates the scene of chasing her husband at the crematorium. I used to look forward to Jiang Yun chasing her husband at the crematorium in the future. But after reading this chapter, I know that it will not happen in the future. Wow, I have been married for 12 years. A person on earth faces someone who is so good at hot and cold violence every day, and he still loves and dotes on him every day. Don't say anything, wish him a quick death
It's so embarrassing to the people on earth. I really don't know how the male protagonist accepted it.
Why are two people on Earth so mean? Boring
The male protagonist is always in this state of humiliating himself and rushing to support others, which is really boring.
Is this copywriting another love brain attack?
The basic setting of the Zerg is to be strong (although the basic ones written by the author are not strong), but the male Zerg is taller than the female Zerg... You can just write female Zerg as attack. If you like weak attack, you should write ABO.
Sadism is good. It is specially designed for the Zerg to suffer so much torture that you can't see it. But you can't stand it if you swap it with sadism? Doesn't this mean you know inequality? The writing is quite interesting, but I don't know about the writing style.
Uh, I don't understand how I discovered it [question mark]
"Exquisite and translucent..." This is a big bug for the author~
I've finished watching it. Come on!
