[Western Crossover] Morax Was Summoned as an Ancient God

[The protagonist is the strongest being in the universe, but he will face opponents who can match him. For details, look up the Cthulhu Mythos. This story includes Lovecraftian elements, so he is not invincible. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you.] After his battle with the Heavenly Principles came to an end, the Geo Archon Morax thought he could finally relinquish his divine station and continue wandering the mortal world as Zhongli, a human. But while investigating a disturbance in the Dark Sea that he had stumbled upon by chance, he was swallowed by a sudden flash of red light. When he opened his eyes again, he had transmigrated to another world. The dim, cramped chamber before him was strewn with corpses. Everywhere, strange summoning circles had been drawn in blood. No matter how he looked at it, this seemed to be the aftermath of a ritual gone wrong, performed by some cult. Zhongli, formerly the Geo Archon Morax, summoned by a failed ritual: “…” S.H.I.E.L.D. somehow dug up a god who claimed to come from another world and hired him as a consultant. For various reasons, one director didn’t hesitate to dump the deity on New York’s flying-tin-can billionaire, supposedly to “look after him,” but really to keep an eye on him. Fortunately, the consultant didn’t mind. He was happy to enjoy this unexpected journey at his leisure. The journey, however, was far from peaceful. There were mutant attacks, Mafia shootouts, and lunatics trying to sacrifice the city. Zhongli, who just wanted to live like an ordinary person: “…” Then came the Battle of New York. The Chitauri invaded, skyscrapers crumbled one after another, and the panicked cries of the people filled the whole city. The god from another world had witnessed it all, and in the end, he could not stand by while the people suffered. So the superheroes watched as their handsome consultant somehow changed into a long, pure-white robe. His exposed arms had an inhuman, jet-black texture, with golden patterns flowing across them like cascading rays of sunlight. He floated silently in the sky, both holy and compassionate. He raised a hand ever so slightly. In an instant, countless stone pillars rose between heaven and earth, their gorgeous, dark-gold patterns shimmering. With a sweep of the deity’s hand high above, an invisible force of resonance rippled outward, wiping out every Chitauri ravaging the city in the blink of an eye. The people of the world watched the scene unfold live, as a reporter aboard a helicopter broadcast it: “…” “????” “!!!!!!!!” ※ Genshin Impact never clearly explains the Geo Archon’s true form or origins, so this story invents its own details. His power level is consequently raised quite a bit. ※ The story includes Lovecraftian elements, but also many original interpretations, and it isn’t especially scary. Please don’t overanalyze it. ※ The Geo Archon is a Lovecraftian deity: an Outer God from the Cthulhu Mythos who transmigrated to Teyvat and then spent more than six thousand years there. Please proceed with caution if that bothers you. (Also, the author’s Genshin Impact UID starts with 18. I started playing on July 2, 2021, and am currently a level 60 veteran who mostly lazes around. So it’s not that I’ve never played Genshin Impact or don’t know its lore. The story is Lovecraftian at its core and set in a Western crossover, so Teyvat doesn’t come up very often.) Theme: No matter what happens, face each day with optimism.
