Li Shimin Is Still Cleaning Up After the Fourth Calamity Today

At the start of the sixth month of the ninth year of Wude, on the eve of the Xuanwu Gate Incident, Prince of Qin Li Shimin attends a banquet hosted by the Crown Prince. Unexpectedly, he drinks a cup of poisoned wine and collapses after a sudden pain in his heart. When he opens his eyes, he learns that a divine light has carried him more than two hundred years into the future.

In the first month of 742 AD, Tang Xuanzong Li Longji changes the era name to Tianbao. The Kaiyuan Golden Age comes to an end, and the many ills of the Tang dynasty will erupt into a devastating upheaval fourteen years later. Alone, Li Shimin sets out on the path of "shepherding the people," diligently working with the help of a "historical simulation game System" bestowed on him by the divine light, all so he can reunite with his beloved wife and young children, as well as his friends and family.

Only, these "people" he's shepherding don't seem quite like what he imagined?

Heavens above! All he wants is to follow the divine light's instructions, help guide tourists from a thousand years in the future as they explore the sights of the Tang dynasty, and do his best to improve the people's happiness, so he can bring his wife and children to live with him!

What kind of "tourist" would pee on Li Longji's throne while setting off fireworks?!

"Er Feng, Er Feng!" A cheerful voice rings in Li Shimin's ear. "We said we'd play Space Battleship together today. You promised to carry me to a higher rank. Are you coming or not?"

"I'm coming!" Li Shimin hurriedly turns off the player message receiver by his ear, then opens the family channel to greet Guanyin Bi, who's busy with her women's federation work. He passes the bustling Science and Technology Park and Chang'an City Hall, nodding to many old men in shaved heads and coarse clothes, and receives a stream of greetings:

"Little Li, in a hurry to go somewhere?"

"Shimin, I've put the two latest Tang population census reports on your desk. Remember to look them over!"

"Your Majesty Taizong, Chancellor Fang says there are a few points in his regional policy that still need your help to lead a meeting about..."

Li Shimin responds as he walks, slowing down more and more until he finally stops. With a helpless sigh, he opens the game panel and sends his player friend a flying pigeon sticker to say he can't make it. Inwardly, he wails: Why is it so hard to sneak in a little gaming while Wei Xuancheng is off at an economics lecture? Gao Ming can handle things on his own now, but the state affairs keep coming nonstop. When will Xiao Jiu, who is recognized in the history books as highly capable, and his wife finally grow up and help their father?

##Fourth-Calamity Players × An Lushan Rebellion + The Zhenguan-era court officials and rulers arrive in the future

##The story mainly focuses on infrastructure building, and the national team will get involved! The author's favorite thing is having the national team pitch in. If you don't enjoy infrastructure-building stories with a patriotic tone, this story may not be for you!

##This is an ensemble story! It's tagged as romance because historical figures have wives and children! But there could be all kinds of pairings involving the players!

##Don't ask why Er Feng gets a System and still goes to the Tianbao era. I'm the System's god, and I think it's fun this way, hahaha. I really love his personality, and I think it'll spark some unique clashes with modern ideas!

##Some parts of the history are fictionalized!
