The Kirisaki Archery Club

[Story Background] The high school team is coached by Kazemai. The middle school team is coached by Uncle Nikaido. The story begins in the characters' first year of high school and ends after the National Championships. The teams consist of five boys and three girls. The five-person team's relationships remain unchanged. The male lead is a local, and competes as an individual in the early part of the story. [Blurb] "Hey, have you heard? There's a new first-year who just joined the kyudo club, and he's taken the whole club by storm." "No way. The kyudo club is our school's star sports club. It's packed with talented people." "It's true, and..." "And what? Come on, tell me!" "My friend in the club says his style is so overwhelming that nobody can hit the target when standing beside him." "!!! Is he the Demon King of Archery?" Later... "Hey, have you heard? The club members even held an in-house selection tournament just for the chance to be the Demon King's teammate." "Didn't you say the Demon King only competes as an individual?" "I'm not really sure... Everyone signed up." "E-Everyone???!!!" "Yeah, everyone. Even the Demon King's strongest clubmates. They couldn't agree, so they held a selection tournament." "When did the Demon King get so popular?" "Trust me, if you watch him compete, you'll become one of his fans too." "So you're a fan of the Demon King's teammates?" "Of course! I go cheer him on at every match. The Demon King is the GOAT!" Theme: Passion can carry us through the long years.
