Ji Ran is playing a live-action role-playing game with a bunch of her troublemaking friends. It is a murder-mystery game based on the ongoing comic, The Upside-Down World.

She draws the role of a villainous playboy, and the funny part is that all her friends are her admirers.

Then, in the blink of an eye, the whole group is transported into the comic, where they become characters belonging to different factions.

They can only survive by staying in character and moving the plot forward.

With one secret identity, she joins the protagonists, while another lets her thrive as she stirs up trouble.

But when did her friends become so enthusiastic about finding her more admirers?!

Otherworld Chat Channel Theater, Part 1:

[Friend A: Ji Ji, you're breaking character.]

[Friend B: Ji Bao, are you playing the wrong role? You're supposed to follow the script.]

[Ji Ji: You're so annoying. Watching B act all lovey-dovey makes me sick.]

[Friend C: It's official, it's official! Hahahaha, look at the comic native acting opposite B. Don't they like Ji Ji too?]

[Friend D: Our Ji Ji is so popular. How many admirers from the comic is this now?]

Ji Ran: I need to figure out how to wrap this up early.

Otherworld Chat Channel Theater, Part 2:

[Friend C: Ji Ji wants to wrap up!]

[Friend D: Absolutely not!]

[Friend B: Ji Bao, if you wrap up, all your admirers are going to lose it~]

Ji Ran: ...Don't make her take out every last one of these admirers!

Otherworld Chat Channel Theater, Part 3:

[Friend B: I earned my place as an admirer! Why is Ji Bao sending someone to kill me?!]

[Friend C: With a face like yours, you think you can be Ji Ji's number-one admirer? Dream on.]

[Friend A: Don't worry, my people haven't even set out yet. They'll be at your place in a second, helping Ji Ji kill you.]

[Friend D: Hahaha, great! Once you all wrap up, Ji Ji will be mine!]

[Ji Ji: ...]

[Friends: Why'd you go quiet, Ji Ji? Our Ji Ji~]

So, in front of the natives, they love and hate each other, and their tangled relationships leave the comic's readers in tears.

But behind the scenes, their chat channel is buzzing with laughter. They even have time to ask which blood-spitting pose looks prettiest.

Ji Ran: We were just acting around. How did you all take it so seriously?

Reading Guide:

1. The comic's plot is original, not based on another work.

2. Besides the troublemaking friends who are her admirers, there will be plenty more. There are lots of one-sided crushes and frequent love-triangle showdowns.

3. In their channel, the actors are all jokes and banter, but to the natives and readers, it's a heartbreaking tragedy.

4. The heroine has secret identities, so there will be times when she falls in love with herself.

Theme: Smile a little. Achieving fame and success isn't the point.
