The Internet-Famous Female Monkey Rules the Mountain

On a dark and windy midnight, Shi Nian leaped from Mount Emei.

Even in death, she hadn't wanted to attract anyone's attention.

To her surprise, when she opened her eyes, she had become a baby monkey on Mount Emei.

Shi Nian: ...

Her monkey mother thought she was dead and kept turning her over, shrieking nonstop. Only when she saw Shi Nian open her eyes did she calm down.

Her mother hugged her tightly, went to beg humans for food, then snatched some and shoved it into her mouth.

Shi Nian: ...

Her mother held a low position in the troop, and the two of them were constantly bullied.

Even Shi Nian's usually patient temper couldn't take the aggravation caused by this troop of unruly monkeys.

What's the difference between monkeys and humans?

Whether they can use tools.

Even if Shi Nian was a pushover, she wasn't going to let a bunch of monkeys push her around.

After she fought back again and again, the unruly monkeys of Mount Emei came to regard her as the troop's leader.

People noticed that the monkeys of Mount Emei had stopped causing trouble. There was even a pretty little monkey who, when humans teased it by dancing and prancing like a monkey, would feed them. Many of the adult monkeys offered it tribute, as if it held a high rank in the troop.

After a video of this went viral online, countless people came to Mount Emei to put on shows and display their talents for the little monkey.

Shi Nian: ...

Because of Shi Nian's exceptional intelligence and popularity, the humans managing the monkeys even took her to a variety show to be a mentor and watch a boy band perform.

Shi Nian: ...

Sometimes I really don't understand you humans.

Can't you just let me live quietly as a monkey?

P.S. There's not much logic to this. She's just an unruly monkey, not as cute as animal protagonists like dogs, cats, or pandas. I know I'm a little crazy. You can tell from my upcoming stories that I'm unwell, very unwell. So don't bother reminding me. I know perfectly well.
