One Day

I eagerly await the day it comes.

I dread the day it comes.

Open your eyes. Don't be afraid. Don't look. It's terrifying.

The governments of every country on Planet P have gone mad.

Overnight, they dragged sleeping residents from their homes and threw them into a walled city they had built long ago.

The world was instantly divided into Zones A, B, and C. Only researchers could live in the safety of Fortress Zone A. Everyone else, even politicians and wealthy businessmen, could only live in Zone B.

The governments of every country had already drawn up a joint law. For the past three years, they had monitored people's online speech and daily activities, marking all citizens who failed to meet their standards and dealing with them in one fell swoop.

Inside the walled city, everything was split in two: one side for men, the other for women.

They couldn't communicate across the divide, and neither side was subject to any control. It was so chaotic and lawless that you could be killed at any moment.

The garbage rejected by mainstream society. Their sinful bloodlines must not be allowed to continue.

Day after day, day after day.

They, he, she, it: all waited for the next day to come.

If one day the world turned good and evil upside down, which side would you choose?

Ling Yuexi slept in a vacation manor until she woke naturally.

Looking at the world she had deliberately destroyed and rebuilt, she was thoroughly pleased.

"What's wrong with what I'm doing? I just want to rule the world."

"My desires are unusual, but you can't decide they're unreasonable just because there are more of you."

"You have the power to stop me from pursuing my desires. It all depends on whether you're capable of doing so."

Jiang Xin was woken by the sound of fighting in the women's prison in Zone C.

Looking at the sealed walls and transparent dome, she made a decision.

"I'll stop all of this, even if I have to do it thousands upon thousands of times."
