Butterfly

[Short or Medium-Length Story, Rei Furuya BG]

[Love Electric, Updates Irregularly]

[Warning: Female Lead Is on the Marginal Side]

[Dual POV]

When Saionji Ayaka was about to graduate from elementary school, she got a puppy.

Golden fur, grayish-purple eyes, and the name Rei Furuya.

Childhood sweethearts, reuniting after a breakup

As kids: A spoiled, willful young lady x a top university student

As adults: A cool, divorced wife x a triple-faced undercover agent

Content warnings:

The female lead is not a good person (in every way)

She really did raise Zero like a dog when they were kids

But as she kept raising him, things just... you get it

As an adult, she had an arranged marriage and has a five-year-old child with her ex-husband

She really is a wife, even if she's divorced

(I really love this kind of marginal characterization, sob)

Theme: How many years does it take a butterfly to emerge from its cocoon?
