A Guide to Winning Over Director Han

Sweet-but-wild younger CEO x mature, cool-headed design director Chu Yunyang isn’t a coward. She’s a fearless warrior when it comes to love. Like a glacier thawing, like dead wood blooming. As the youngest executive president of the Chu Group, Chu Yunyang’s life had been full of ups and downs. She was beautiful, held a high position yet remained modest and courteous, and was a consummately well-mannered leader. Everything was perfectly normal until the company’s annual party, where she saw a woman in a red evening gown, utterly bewitching as she lifted her hem and swayed across the room. Call it love at first sight or being captivated by beauty, but a seed took root in her heart. Han Jinqing was cool and reserved by nature and disliked being around people. Yet Chu Yunyang kept finding excuses to seek her out, first to discuss work, then to flirt wildly once she fell for her. At work, she went to her for help with problems. In private, she went to her for comfort and affection. No matter how legitimate her reason for seeking Han Jinqing, once the business was done, the endless flirting began. She loved Han Jinqing’s restrained, professional look in her work clothes, and the gentle elegance she exuded as she sketched with a pencil. Her hands were so beautiful they were impossible to resist. That was why Chu Yunyang fell for her, helplessly and completely. Chu Yunyang’s deep devotion was hidden in the origami cranes she gave Han Jinqing every time they met. Every deliberately contrived attempt to get close to her was full of heartfelt affection. Everyone said Han Jinqing must have done something to offend that young heiress, since Chu Yunyang was always reprimanding her despite being her junior. Only later did the people at the company realize that it wasn’t some grudge at all. It was just President Chu’s way of pursuing her. Little tricks like hiding under her desk to play with her fountain pen, or jumping into the pool to trick her into a kiss. Little tricks like calling her Director Han in public and Sister in private. Chu Yunyang was happy to openly own up to her feelings. A little scene one day: President Chu once again summoned Han Jinqing to her office, claiming there was an error in the contract. “President Chu, what’s wrong with the contract?” “There’s nothing wrong with it. I just miss Director Han a little.” “What?” “Do whatever you like, Sister. I’ll just give you a kiss.” “…So much for keeping work and private life separate. Liar!” Theme: Let’s build a beautiful new society together.
