President Qin and Her Beloved Actress Wife

Qin Jiuyi, a laid-back cardiac surgeon who switched careers halfway through and started an entertainment company, has always kept a low profile and maintained an air of mystery. To outsiders, she seems cool and aloof, like frost-covered snow, impossible to approach. In reality, she and Wen Shuche, the actress signed to her company who just won the Best Actress award, have been secretly married for three years. She quietly stands behind the woman everyone wants a piece of, protecting and supporting her as she forges ahead and rides out every storm. One is distant and taciturn; the other is gentle and charming. Later, when Wen Shuche was announced as a two-time Best Actress winner, she stood apart from the other nominees, full of confidence and radiant among a crowd of hopeful faces. In a world overflowing with love, she looked toward Qin Jiuyi and said, “Qin Jiuyi, I love you.” Qin Jiuyi smiled and stood up, still wearing a simple black suit. Her long hair swayed behind her as she walked, and her exquisite features were touched with only a little makeup. She walked toward Wen Shuche, gently put an arm around her waist, and, beneath the gaze of the entire crowd, softly said, “Congratulations.” Wen Shuche turned and wrapped her arms around Qin Jiuyi’s neck. With confetti flying all around them, she said again with a smile, “I love you, Qin Jiuyi.” Qin Jiuyi, whose smile could outshine a hundred beauties, and Wen Shuche, untouched by the petty vanities of the world. The gods gave people their yearning for love, and so the world is full of brave souls charging into battle for love. May you arrive full of anticipation and leave with your heart full. Note: This story takes place in a fictional setting where same-sex couples can marry and have children. Theme: Stay positive and keep striving for the work you love.
