In the year 3106, as the empire was rocked by internal unrest and outside threats, an enemy nation suddenly launched a massive invasion.

Just as the empire's grand edifice seemed ready to topple, a small squad appeared on the battlefield between the two nations like divine reinforcements from the heavens. They struck straight at the enemy command center, forcing the enemy troops to retreat again and again and finally giving the empire a chance to catch its breath.

That squad was almost completely wiped out. Only one person survived.

Moved by the squad's sacrifice, the new emperor awarded the survivor the King's Medal. But on the day of the investiture ceremony, she suddenly vanished, disappearing without a trace.

An Ning knew that her life had ended on that battlefield. She had tried to move on and start a new life, but she could never find even a moment of peace to match her name

She could only keep fighting, fighting on with her broken body until her life burned away completely.

This time, I want to try writing something different. The story will move between flashbacks and the present.

Xu Yuechuan is the second male lead. As the blurb says, the male lead is dead. This is truly a female-lead-centered story, with the second male lead serving mostly as an observer. It tells of the female lead's growth and the homecoming of a hero at the end of the road.

The writing may not be very lighthearted, and this will be a big challenge for me, but it's a type of story I've really wanted to try. I hope you'll enjoy it!
