Synopsis

Atobe Jingning was born prematurely and was sickly from a young age. His family coddled him too much, keeping him hidden away from the outside world. His older brother, Atobe Keigo, was the eldest son of the Atobe family, dazzling and magnificent. Jingning had always admired and looked up to him.

"My little brother can do whatever he wants. I'll be right here to shield you!" He remembered his brother running a hand over his head and saying those words with both confidence and tenderness.

So he made the boldest decision of his life: he loved sports, and he didn't want to be protected. He wanted to experience a different life.

In his first year of middle school, he joined the Hyotei tennis team with his brother and helped him build his own kingdom;

In his second year, he began an independent new life, transferring to Teiko Middle School, where his childhood friend Seijuro Akashi studied. He witnessed the rise of their "Generation of Miracles," only to see them eventually go their separate ways;

In his first year of high school, he left everything from his past behind and chose to board with his aunt in Miyagi Prefecture. There, he met the warm, sunny Hinata Shoyo, who never gave in to adversity, and rose to the top alongside the "fallen powerhouse";

In his third year of high school, he let go of his worries and returned to Tokyo after a long absence. In that passionate summer, he finally took the field at Koshien with Seido High School.
