After Shrinking to Save Myself, My Peer Became My System

Morofushi thought that coming back from the dead was already bizarre enough, so turning into a child didn't seem all that strange.

As for the two "Systems" that spoke inside his head and directed him through missions, Morofushi didn't find them particularly strange either.

The problem was that there were two of them, and their voices sounded exactly like his classmates.

Yes, I'm talking about you two, Matsuda and Hagiwara. Don't think I can't tell. You two are doing this on purpose, aren't you?

Amid a flurry of laughter and playful bickering, Morofushi gradually learned from Matsuda and Hagiwara that he was in a world full of mixed-up fanfiction, with countless fanfic protagonists. And, well, he was one of them too.

Matsuda and Hagiwara's purpose was to keep him from getting tangled up in the mess between all these fanfic protagonists and help him complete his own storyline.

Morofushi was puzzled. "Didn't I already die? What storyline could I possibly have left?"

Matsuda and Hagiwara snickered. At last, Matsuda spoke.

"Come on, Hiro-danna, get ready for your first plot mission."

Matsuda's lazy voice continued. "Tell Inspector Takaaki that you're your own child."

Morofushi: "?"

Seriously, who wrote this plot? Is this really not you two messing with me on purpose, Matsuda and Hagiwara? If you want to watch me die of embarrassment, just say so!

Hagiwara giggled. "Little Morofushi, just accept your fate."

After diligently completing all those ridiculous, joke-like missions, Morofushi finally reached his last one:

"Confess your love to 'Zero' passionately in front of Inspector Takaaki, "

Matsuda added, "I think you should force a kiss on Rei Furuya too. Yeah, let's add that to the mission."

Morofushi: "...?" So you two are the ones assigning these missions just to mess with me, aren't you?

Morofushi scowled. "What happens if I don't do it?"

Hagiwara: "If you don't complete it... I guess Jinpei-chan and I will keep seeing you and Little Furuya acting all lovey-dovey?"

Morofushi: "..."

I'm sorry, Brother!

Please believe me, I really didn't mean to!
