As an overworked employee, Cang Weiqiu's greatest joys are watching shows, playing games, and eating snacks. Unfortunately, life doesn't go his way, and every day he diligently rushes between eating, sleeping, working, and writing reports.

He hears that a mortal at the neighboring office is exceptionally good at writing reports. Cang Weiqiu's evil side gets the better of him, and he decides to bring the man back to write reports for him.

Since the man is mortal, Cang Weiqiu must be careful not to reveal his identity. He's also constantly worried that this fragile life-form might suddenly kick the bucket, without realizing that his workload has increased by who knows how many times.

Then he sees the great beauty he has always thought was too delicate to fend for himself, and utterly defenseless against demons, pull a crude butcher's knife from behind his back and hack a demon until it is unrecognizable. When the man turns to face him, though, he puts on the pitiful, harmless look of a helpless little victim.
