Pointing Fingers on a Desolate Planet [Infrastructure]

[Farming + infrastructure building + interstellar + full-dive game setting]

In Star Era 4x82, the full-dive game Planet King took the entire star system by storm.

It was a game with an exceptionally high degree of freedom. From the start, every player had a planet of their own. They could build starships and weapons to seize more resources and become a local overlord, or team up with other players and enjoy the game together.

Qi Huaimiao was a first-year student in the command department. As soon as she enrolled, her counselor told her she absolutely had to play the game. But after she downloaded it, she ended up with a barren planet.

It was nothing but desolate deserts, with barely a single oasis across the whole planet. The planet's natives huddled around one source of water, struggling to get enough food and warm clothes every day. Forget building a starship; they couldn't even build a bicycle.

Qi Huaimiao: ...Okay, fine. I can do this.

Even under such harsh conditions, Qi Huaimiao had no intention of deleting her account and starting over. She might be in the command department, but she could still bring out the hardworking spirit of the people of ancient planets!

A desert? She could plant trees! Not enough food? She could grow crops! No houses? She could build them!

Whatever they lacked, she could build! And if all else failed... she still had the game's golden finger, the System, to help her!

The System was gentle, had a lovely voice, and could solve every problem she ran into. But Qi Huaimiao always felt it was rushing between different games. Otherwise, why would it disappear for ten days or half a month at a time?

Because time passed differently in the game, by the time one year had gone by in reality, several decades had passed in the game. Thanks to Qi Huaimiao and the planet's natives, the barren planet had been completely transformed. It was lush and full of life, and its people were happy and lived in peace. The planet's technological level had also reached its peak, with powerful ships and weapons. A single attack could blast a small planet to pieces!

That was more than enough to sweep the entire full-dive game!

While Student A was making waves on some planet, Qi Huaimiao was planting forests on the barren planet to hold back the sandstorms. While Student B was fighting in space aboard a starship, Qi Huaimiao was teaching the natives to read and write. While Student C had finally broken through the dimensional barrier, successfully made it to a big shot on a planet in the main dimension, and was boasting proudly in the classroom, Qi Huaimiao simply waved her sleeve and left without taking credit.

Hah, a planetary big shot?

Qi Huaimiao had already seen the news on the forums. She was confident that, thanks to her diligent hard work, her planet had long since become the most powerful in the dimension, capable of instantly defeating every other planet!

At last, she could let loose and enjoy the thrill of becoming number one on the game rankings!

But when Qi Huaimiao excitedly piloted her starship into outer space, she discovered a serious problem.

Why was her game a single-player game that couldn't connect to other players?

A federal research team suddenly discovered a planet they had never seen before in the star system. Its fields were ripe with produce, its rice paddies stretched as far as the eye could see, its technology was advanced, and its laws were strict. It had both peaceful countryside and cities bristling with steel: a mature, highly developed planet!

Its technology was even more advanced than that of the star system's central planet. The moment the researchers stepped inside, they couldn't help taking out their notebooks to jot things down, hoping to bring the information back to the central planet for study.

But Luo Jingyu, head of the research team, stared at the familiar surroundings in shock.

Why was this planet exactly like the game he occasionally entered?!

The female lead, who succeeds at farming, leads the people of the barren planet to prosperity, and takes it to the peak of planetary power: the Queen of the Barren Planet × The calm, powerful male lead who helps her succeed in building her enterprise (?): initially the System

P.S. Most likely a goofy story.
