Cultivating the Ruthless Dao Is Really Dangerous!

[Cold, sinister disciple gong x gentle, lively, universally adored master shou]

Jiang Heqing works for the Space-Time Administration. After finally completing his mission and preparing to retire, a System error sends him back to the immortal cultivation world where he once carried out a mission.

And the timing couldn't be worse: it's exactly three hundred years after the identity he had in this world died and vanished from the earth.

The good news: he came over in his own body, and he still has all his spiritual roots and cultivation.

The bad news: back then, he played the male lead's villainous master. His role was to force himself on the male lead, fail, and eventually get killed in return.

Looking at his disciple, now the number one cultivator in the world, Jiang Heqing trembles with fear.

-

After returning, Jiang Heqing tries to hide his identity while searching for a way to leave this world, but accidentally gives himself away.

He thought that, after all the evil things he'd done, being exposed would mean certain death. But things don't go quite as he expected.

His former nemesis: I didn't know back then that you had your reasons for everything you did. Kill me with your sword. I have to pay for the horrible things I did!

The sect elders who expelled him: We've investigated everything. You were framed for those things. We've uncovered the truth and cleared your name!

The disciple he once tried and failed to force himself on: I was wrong. You can do whatever you want to me. I just want to stay by your side.

Jiang Heqing: Wait, why has the cultivation world suddenly turned upside down? Also, I'm straight. I never actually wanted to do anything to you, okay?

-

The changed cultivation world is strange, but Jiang Heqing adapts well and quickly throws himself into the search for a way out.

But one day, while out drinking and enjoying the company of courtesans, he happens to run into his disciple. The disciple grabs his wrist, and when Jiang Heqing sees the terrifyingly obsessive, sinister look in his eyes, he instinctively senses that something is wrong.

Wait, what happened to your Way of Ruthlessness, disciple?!
