Come on!] The Systems in the Cosmic Time and Space Bureau come in all shapes and forms. System 404 belongs to the Villain Group. System 404 told its soul-contract Host, Xie Wen'an, “A villain's ending is always some variation of ruined reputation, a gruesome death, having your grave dug up and your corpse whipped, or being ground to dust... Host, as long as you play the villain's entire life properly, we'll count the mission as a success and move on to the next one.” Xie Wen'an: “Don't worry. I'm new at this, but as a Blue Star wage slave, I'm all about being professional!” System 404 was very pleased. Until... “Ahhhhh! We agreed I'd leave the bottom enough energy this time to go out and cheat! I blocked the signal and went back to the group to play mahjong, so why can't he do it again? Huh?!” Xie Wen'an furrowed his brows, completely unashamed, and replied firmly, “I'll be sure to pay attention next time!” The Great Game Wen Zhixiang is a moon floating in the cold heavens, while Lu Yuan is a clod of mud in the shifting tides of the mortal world. But Lu Yuan loves Wen Zhixiang. Lu Yuan loves Wen Zhixiang's astonishing talent, his playful games of poetry and tea, and his refined appreciation of tea and chess. He adores his noble elegance and is captivated by his lofty aloofness. But Wen Zhixiang can't stand Lu Yuan. Wen Zhixiang can't stand Lu Yuan's rudeness, vulgarity, and lack of learning, nor his ill intentions. He loathes Lu Yuan's insistence on pushing his luck and despises his unscrupulous methods. At first... Lu Yuan confessed, “Could you give me a chance?” Wen Zhixiang remained cool and indifferent, barely acknowledging him as he glanced over. “What kind of chance?” A chance to pursue him? Ha. Lu Yuan: “How about we sleep together?” Wen Zhixiang's face reddened with anger. He turned and walked away, only to come back after a few steps. “Tch!” You lecher! But later... In the heavy snow that had sealed off the mountain, Wen Zhixiang looked down as the broad-shouldered man cradled his frozen feet and rubbed them warm. In the lightless cave passage, he felt his heart, like his feet, begin to thaw. Lu Yuan smiled at him. “Why are you looking at me like that? What, touched?” Wen Zhixiang blushed and turned away, refusing to look at him. Lu Yuan grinned and leaned closer. “When are you free?” Wen Zhixiang looked puzzled. “For what?” Lu Yuan: “Nothing much. Just to find a time to sleep together.” Wen Zhixiang: “...Tch...” During their days teaching in the countryside, Wen Zhixiang watched with tenderness and concern as the mud-covered man bustled about, slicing ginger and making tea for him. He thought the man was an idiot, walking more than ten miles on a rainy night to pull his car out of a ditch. Lu Yuan carefully wiped the dust that had accidentally touched the rim of the bowl, then handed over the ginger tea. “Drink some to warm up and ward off the chill.” Wen Zhixiang thought his heart looked even more battered than Lu Yuan did just then. The temperature dropped sharply in the mountains on that rainy night. After washing up, Lu Yuan cheerfully came over and made his usual crude suggestion. “It's so cold. Want to sleep together?” He expected Wen Zhixiang to tell him off as usual. Instead, Wen Zhixiang clutched the sheet beside his legs, blushing and breathless as he softly answered, “Mm.” Theme: Take responsibility, fulfill your obligations, and enjoy your rights.
