I Heard the Mist Hashira Has a Fiancé

Outline version:

The Demon Slayer Corps has a rumor.

They say the Mist Hashira, famed as a genius, has a fiance!

It's about as ridiculous as the Water Hashira having any social skills...

But the Mist Hashira didn't deny it!!!

"So, what do you think of that rumor?" the Mist Hashira asks, tilting his head slightly.

The young man beneath him is drenched in sweat. His usually cool face is flushed, and he answers in a trembling voice, "Not engaged. Married."

Sagawa Jinya is 22 years old and a police officer on the bomb disposal unit. He never expected to die in the line of duty right after graduating. He hadn't even finished his probationary period!

He thought his life was over, but unexpectedly, the heavens gave him a second chance.

It's just...

If only he hadn't read The Great Taisho Demon Extermination Record...

Reader's Guide:

1. First, I should make one thing clear: this clueless author doesn't read the manga, so there will be a lot of headcanon in the setting.

2. Updates every other day after the story begins, with possible bonus chapters.

3. OOC warning! Canon destruction warning! (Emphasis! Emphasis!)

4. It might count as a fix-it fic. The protagonist's power level is on a par with the previous one.

Premise: Helping others will eventually help you too
