[Harry Potter] How to Avoid Becoming an Owl

[Extra for How to Avoid Becoming a Robin]

Just an idea for now. I'll start writing it after I finish the other one.

[Harry Potter stories can't be contracted for publication, so I'm writing this one separately.]

Jason closes his eyes and opens them to find that the world has changed. He's gone from being a Gotham crime boss and the man behind Red Hood to an eleven-year-old orphan in London, England.

Looking at the year on the newspaper and his frail limbs, Jason's heart sinks.

Then a strange owl delivers a strange letter to him.

...A wizard? A magic school?

While he's still hesitating, another owl arrives.

This one is a different species from the first: a little, drab-looking Eastern Screech Owl.

Every day, it brings him whatever he needs, from food to money, and even a gun.

Jason thinks about it and decides to give it a name.

Then it turns into a person.

Edwin: Were you calling me?

Jason: ...:)

Please note:

1. They all retain their memories and start out at eleven years old. The story mostly doesn't follow the original plot (probably).

2. The early chapters will mostly be from Jason's point of view (I think), while the later chapters will mostly be from Edwin's.

3. There should be some Bat-family appearances.

4. Eastern Screech Owl is the name of a species. It's also called the Oriental Scops Owl, and it's a small bird of prey.

Theme: Stay true to your original aspirations and forge ahead.
