First published on Jinjiang. Completed story next door: How to Avoid Becoming a Robin [Western Crossover] [Western Crossover] Did Robin Go to Arkham Today? Available to pre-save: [Western Crossover] An Atypical Robin-in-Training, paired with Arkham Jason [I struggle with blurbs and may change this at any time, but the premise won't change.] Blurb: Ariel wakes up with a blank mind and no memories, accompanied only by a System full of bugs. "System": The Dark Multiverse is about to collide with the Multiverse, and the world is on the verge of destruction. You need to Ariel: (eyes light up) What, that's an option? "System": ...Shut up! Anyway, as character cards light up one by one, many inhuman things begin appearing in the world... 1. While investigating a cult, the Titans see a pure white egg on the altar, nourished by flesh and blood. As the sun rises, a girl just as white is born from within. Horns sprout from her head. Her expression is innocent and bewildered, and she opens her eyes in the daylight, drenched in blood. Flowers and grass grow in the cracks between the stones, swaying in the breeze as if welcoming her newborn life. Dick can't explain the chill that comes over him. 2. Recently, a number of people have gone missing in Gotham, and Batman goes to investigate. Following the clues, he discovers that the culprit is the boy in the church choir, the one called a "demon" because of his skin color. Batman is about to approach him when he unexpectedly meets the gaze of an eye. An eye... open in the shadow behind the boy. 3. Luthor spends a fortune searching the universe for kryptonite, but all he brings back is a blood-red alien life-form, soft as slime. It can eat anything and digest anything, like a bottomless pit. The more it eats, the larger it grows. Until one day, Clark comes to investigate in his capacity as a reporter. Through the glass, he sees it grow a human face. Their existence quickly puts the superheroes on their guard, and even makes them hostile. The mission proceeds very smoothly. Ariel even remembers the memories he'd forgotten, yet he grows more and more... distraught. Ariel: "Why would Batman save people? Isn't he supposed to destroy the world? And wasn't Clark dead?!" "System": ...Why would you think that? Please note: 1. Pairing: P52 Jason. 2. Starts in the Multiverse. 3. I won't bash any characters except the villains. Please don't insult the original superheroes either. If anyone seems out of character, it's because I'm bad at writing. 4. Some settings from Soulslike games will be included, but not their specific plots. You can still follow along even if you haven't played them. 5. After the story goes premium, there will be more magic-side content. Available to pre-save: [Western Crossover] An Atypical Robin-in-Training Blurb: After dying, he transmigrates and becomes a boy soldier on the battlefield. Lorian looks at the gun in his hand and listens to the strange language, with more syllables than gunshots, all around him. For a moment, he is completely lost. Still, since he's here, he has to survive. But he doesn't speak the language, can't use a gun, and his daily missions still send him charging into minefields. The pressure to survive is off the charts. Lorian decides he can't go on like this. Luckily, someone is willing to help. In his dreams. Lorian stares at the arrogant, hot-tempered, dark-skinned short guy in front of him, speechless. Just as he's about to politely decline, the short guy challenges him (and beats the hell out of him). Short guy: #￥%&^@...! Lorian: What the hell is he saying now... Short guy: "Weakling." (In perfectly enunciated Chinese.) Lorian: ...!!!! * As it turns out, communication is essential. Once they reach an understanding, combat training and language lessons are added to the schedule. Just as Lorian sees a chance to quit, someone shoots his black-hearted boss in the head first. The new boss is a good person. As soon as he takes over, he leads the team out of the war zone, offers generous compensation, and assigns strict but non-lethal training missions... and even makes time for the occasional heart-to-heart. Looking at his boss's cat-shaped helmet, Lorian thinks: Maybe... maybe I'll stay a few more days? But some time later, the team is fully assembled, and the boss hands out a photo of their final target. Lorian looks at the familiar dark-haired face in the photo and falls into thought. That night. Lorian: "D, does your dad have any weaknesses?" D: ? Please note: Pairing: Arkham Jason Third-person narration Theme: Follow this arduous journey until you reach the stars
