The countdown to posting has begun. It won't be too long, probably around 500,000 to 600,000 words. After signing, I'll update daily until it's complete. The setting uses the broader concept of Mandarin spoken in circulation in Hong Kong City, and there won't be too many Hong Kong-style catchphrases in the story.
[My next novel: Married to a Young, Sickly Entrepreneur. Blurb at the bottom!]
Shi Junyin is a delicate, fair-skinned beauty with a frail constitution. His household registration is in Hong Kong City, his father is a force to be reckoned with in business, and the Shi family is wealthy.
Raised in luxury, Shi Junyin thought he could be the Shi family's pampered young master forever.
The year Shi Junyin turned twenty-four, two things happened:
First, his father developed a gambling addiction and squandered the family fortune, leaving the Shi family on the brink of collapse.
Second, to repay his gambling debts, his father arranged for Shi Junyin to marry Gu Xiangting, a real-estate tycoon ten years his senior.
Shi Junyin was stunned. He's... thirty-four? (Trembling in fear.)
At thirty-four, Gu Xiangting had never dated or married. Handsome, fabulously wealthy, and long-legged, his handsome, rugged face had been cold for decades. But on the day he married Shi Junyin, a smile finally appeared.
Shi Junyin was afraid to sleep beside him and didn't want him to be his first. Gu Xiangting didn't get upset. He simply smiled. "All right. We'll sleep together when Yinyin is ready."
Shi Junyin had a weak stomach, and often suffered such terrible pain at night that he couldn't sleep.
Gu Xiangting sat by the bed, warming his stomach with his hot palm, rubbing it gently and staying up with him night after night.
When Shi Junyin was no longer in pain, Gu Xiangting would leave without a word.
One night, Gu Xiangting was heading back to his own room as usual when Shi Junyin suddenly turned and called after him, "H-husband."
Gu Xiangting stopped and turned around at once. "Yinyin, what did you call me?"
Shi Junyin blushed. "Husband..."
After that, Shi Junyin often went to high-society parties with Gu Xiangting, holding his arm and softly calling him "husband." Gu Xiangting answered every time, his eyes full of tenderness.
After the parties, the two returned to the Gu family's estate. Gu Xiangting gripped Shi Junyin's snow-white, slender shoulders and kissed him fiercely, until the beauty's eyes reddened. He asked softly, "Yinyin, can I have you now?"
Couple: 1v1, happy ending, both virgins, age gap of ten years. A sweet, delicate, sickly beauty with a touch of madness, on the receiving end x a gentle, devoted, indulgent, handsome, wealthy, fatherly, henpecked husband on the giving end. A little business intrigue, lots of sweet, steamy romance. The blurb only covers about half the story.
[Traits]: The Hong Kong City tycoon husband is a model of proper conduct, and he'd give his life to spoil his darling Yinyin. Welcome, ladies!
Setting: Same-sex marriage is legal.
[Next up: Married to a Young, Sickly Entrepreneur]
Chen Dongxuan is a fair-skinned, delicate beauty with a frail constitution. He is twenty-three, comes from a wealthy family, and inherited the family business at a young age after his father died.
But Chen Dongxuan's biological father was no simple man. As soon as Chen was named heir, all kinds of illegitimate children appeared, intent on fighting him for the inheritance.
The power struggle in the wealthy family reaches its boiling point, leaving Chen Dongxuan unable to get away. Then a handsome man named Quan Ting suddenly appears at the Chen family home and knocks on the door.
"I came for two reasons. First, to deliver the chairman's letter of appointment to Mr. Chen Dongxuan and wish Chairman Chen great success in business from now on."
Quan Ting coldly looked at the stunned illegitimate children with different surnames. Then a smile suddenly touched his lips. "The second reason is that I'm here to take Mr. Chen home."
Quan Ting raised a hand to part the crowd and walked into the living room. Chen Dongxuan had his back to him, slender legs crossed as he sank into the sofa.
"Xuanxuan, I brought what you wanted." Quan Ting knelt on one knee and cradled Chen's long, slender hand, his eyes burning with passion. "Will you come home with me, Xuanxuan? Let me love you, all right?"
*
Quan Ting is thirty-five. Three years ago, he was the top-performing CEO of the Chen Group, but a colleague framed him and he left the company.
A week before his departure, Quan Ting met Chen Dongxuan in the elevator. Chen had come to see his father, and Quan Ting even gave him some stomach medicine.
Chen Dongxuan was fair and adorable. He gave Quan Ting a sweet smile, his soft red lips curving as he thanked him.
Quan Ting fell for him at first sight. In the three years since leaving the company, he had thought of Chen Dongxuan every day and dreamed of marrying him.
In those three years, Quan Ting started his own real-estate company, proved himself a formidable businessman, and amassed a fortune worth over a hundred million. He married Chen Dongxuan in grand style, holding him in his arms as he told all the media present, "Xuanxuan is my wife. I only listen to him."
From then on, every night, Quan Ting held Chen Dongxuan in his pajamas, his eyes full of affection as he gently rubbed his stomach and softly asked, "Baby, does your stomach still hurt?"
[Couple]: A sweet, delicate, slightly crazy sickly beauty on the receiving end x a wealthy, gentle, ruthless-to-outsiders, loyal, fatherly husband on the giving end. 1v1, happy ending, both virgins, twelve-year age gap. No projecting real people onto the characters.
Traits: Proper conduct is Quan Ting's only required course. He'd give his life to spoil his baby Xuan in every way. The male lead calls the other lead "wife," and the other lead calls him "husband."
As usual: lots of sweet, steamy romance.
Setting: Same-sex marriage is legal.
