This Dog Is Way Too Dedicated

My new story, Every Kind of Cat Under a Vast Domain, is now available. Visit my author page to add it to your collection.

In her third year since being reincarnated into a beastfolk world, Ye Rongrong is injured and falls into an isolated catfolk tribe.

Ye Rongrong, hearing that the catfolk hunt birds: Danger!!!

"Oh my gosh, look what I found!"

Ye Rongrong: scared.jpg

"This cat has wings!!!"

"Wow, you're right. Turns out a bigger territory really does have every kind of cat!"

"Let's take you home, kitty."

Ye Rongrong: "...I'm not a cat beastfolk."

"Then what are you?"

"An owl beastfolk."

"Look, your name even has 'cat' in it, and you still say you're not a cat."

Ye Rongrong: "..."

She's forced to join the catfolk.

In an age when Hosts are all slacking off like lazy fish, Ye Dongbei, a dog beastfolk, is undoubtedly a breath of fresh air among Hosts.

She works diligently, completing every task assigned by the System with two hundred percent effort.

System: "Adopt a pitiful but powerful catfolk extra's cub."

After issuing the task, the System visits another Host and earnestly tries to persuade them to complete it.

Ye Dongbei thinks it over. The extra, who still has both parents, is only six months old. She sneaks into the extra's home for half a month, gathers evidence of their crimes, gets the whole family exiled from the tribe, and successfully adopts the "orphaned" extra.

The System returns three months later. "Aaaah! I meant for you to wait until that family abandoned the extra before you picked him up and adopted him! Aaaah!!!"

Ye Dongbei cares only about the task. "Did I complete it?"

The System sobs. "...Yes."

Ye Dongbei is confused. "Then why are you crying?"

System: "..."

The plot's gone off the rails!
