Year Three of the Great Jing Dynasty.

The emperor is incompetent and inept, treacherous officials hold power, and government officials protect one another. Martial sects rise up across the land, demons and monsters appear in droves, and common folk suffer miserably.

Ye Jinghao realizes she has become a baby in the Great Jing Dynasty, with chaos on the horizon, and would rather die on the spot.

She is abandoned in the grass by the roadside.

The Ye couple find her and take her home. All she wants is to be an ordinary young woman.

Later, she watches her loved ones die brutally, yet cannot even find a place to seek justice.

She takes off her hairpins and skirt, picks up the rusty sword passed down in her family, and walks into the Demon-Suppressing Bureau without looking back.

"At first, I only wanted justice for myself. Later, I wanted to reclaim justice for everyone under heaven."

Theme: As long as we don't give up and keep going, the light will ultimately triumph over darkness.
