Fen Lun is a staunch materialist. Though she often prays to gods and Buddhas, tells fortunes, studies feng shui, and gambles on fate, she has always firmly believed that ghosts simply cannot exist!
But for her neon-haired friend, who may have a delusion disorder, and to keep their friendship from falling apart, Fen Lun is forced to get better at pretending to see ghosts.
"Fen Lun, what do you see?"
Fen Lun looked at her friend, then at the empty patch of ground her friend was pointing at, and put on a terrified expression.
"Ah! There's a ghost here! How scary!"
Gojo Satoru: "Look more closely!"
Fen Lun: "Ah! A scary female ghost!"
Gojo Satoru: "Seriously, that's a Fly Head."
Fen Lun: "..." Man, this is hard.
Even so, her friend still wasn't satisfied. He kept asking Fen Lun, "Why do you believe in supernatural powers and monsters, but not ghosts?"
Fen Lun: "Isn't that normal? Human potential is limitless, so why would supernatural powers be strange? And monsters aren't allowed to become spirits after the founding of the country. They became spirits before then, and it's hard enough for them already. Don't be so strict. Besides, I do believe in ghosts."
As she spoke, she followed her instincts and stabbed a Grade 3 Cursed Spirit to death with her sword.
Gojo Satoru, who was suspected of having a delusion disorder: "Seriously."
