He had tried every method he could think of, but still couldn't escape this control. Desperate and out of options, Chi Lu would rather die than be forced to become someone's appendage. He picked a day to end it all. Just as the knife was about to pierce him, a mechanical voice suddenly rang out in his mind, like a visitor from another world: “System 609 has bonded with Host. I am dedicated to helping Host break free from the will of the small world. Please do not give up on life.” Chi Lu: “What does that mean?” After the System explained, Chi Lu grasped only the most important point: “So, with you here, I won't have to be forced to simp for Wen Zhu anymore?” “That's right. Chi Lu snatched it up and unleashed all the anger, hurt, and resentment he had accumulated over the past two years on Wen Zhu at the other end, then slammed the phone down.
