[Content warning 1] If you don't like the love interest being called a "beauty," this probably isn't for you, because later on there will also be a scene where the love interest whispers that the protagonist is "delicate" in his ear while they're in bed. I like the love interest calling the protagonist his wife. But the protagonist always has the power to do whatever he wants and the right to refuse, whether openly or in secret. He just usually prefers to play around and not use those rights.
[Content warning 2] The protagonist is on the weaker side, but apart from being too lazy to move in bed and looking a little frail in everyday life, that's it. It's the kind of setup where, when the protagonist and the love interests stand together, people can accept more easily that the protagonist is the one on top than that he's on the bottom. They think that such an outstanding, beautiful, frail beauty, with his elegance and refined bearing, should be indulged and cherished. Naturally, others should give way to him.
It's the sort of character who looks incredibly capable, with only his health holding him back.
Uh... Maybe fans of strong tops and weak tops both dislike this?
[Content warning 3] The little darling is a bad person, not a good guy, but he pretends to be one and enjoys it. For what he's really like, see Scene Two. No living creature can tell that the protagonist is acting. Of course, if you keep pretending your whole life, it becomes the truth. Things kept hidden leave no trace. None of it can be pinned on my darling.
[HIGHLIGHT!!!] The writing is amateurish, at an ordinary beginner's level. There is a lot of pointless flowery prose, dragging and filler, and the logic may not make sense.
World One, School: A self-disciplined, traditional top student x mind-reading male leads
Xie Yan:
"I want to drag him down, drag him into this world.
No, that's wrong. I'm not worthy.
But that doesn't stop me from issuing some warnings. They aren't worthy either."
Yu Shu:
"What the heck? You all warned me, but you still went over to him."
...He ruined everything, and all he had left was a hopeless plea.
Zou Sheng:
"There's no difference, nothing is different. No matter how noble his bearing or how ethereal his beauty, the blood running from him is just as bloody as theirs."
He suddenly remembered that smile, so lovely and full of longing. His resolve wavered.
Luo Fei:
"Stay away from that person..."
He calmly offered his sincere advice, to his companions and to himself.
He smiled at the counsel his reason gave him.
...He wanted to try.
"I tried."
In short, this book is full of losers. The only difference is whether they lose more or less, while the protagonist comes out ahead by a mile after paying a tiny, insignificant price.
Scene One
The System looked at the frail person on the bed. His features were cool and composed, his eyes half-closed, but a sickly pallor softened his otherwise sharp features.
For some reason, the System lowered its voice. "Will you enter into a contract with me? I can heal your body."
Du Ci wasn't startled by the sudden voice. He said coldly, "Get lost."
Inside, however, he was especially dismissive. Unknown, was it? So what? He wanted more than just this.
Scene Two
A noble, reserved young gentleman, born into a place of power struggles and deceit, yet pure as snow and indifferent to power? Oh, no. Shh. He's a nasty, cruel, selfish, refined egoist who loves pretending to be the gentleman everyone praises, toying with those who fall for his mask. So remember to stay away from him. You'll have to live with the consequences yourself.
Du Ci lowered his head and looked at those pairs of eyes brimming with frenzied love. He smiled faintly, his eyes curving as gentle warmth softened his entire expression. He touched the corner of his eye and spoke with a hint of helplessness. "Warnings don't work, do they? But I don't have any other options."
Thanks so much for pointing out that the love interest's suffering in bed was a sore spot in the reviews. I've changed it. Sometimes the author's perspective while writing doesn't match their perspective as a reader. Please let me know if you see scenes where the protagonist is mistreated or suffers. [Although an author who writes from the protagonist's perspective wouldn't write scenes that hurt him, but what if I have a brain fart?]
Protagonist is the top, somewhat weak top, doted-on top, all pairings are with the top.
Don't insult the protagonist. If you do, the author will chase you down and insult you. Anything else goes.
A frail, beautiful, aloof on the surface, playful underneath, top. Not sure I can pull it off.
The blurb is provisional. I'll add content warnings as I write. The whole story has been revised twice and won't be revised again. Note from 2026.1.2.

I'm the only one in the comment section. If you don't mind if I just say it, it's very difficult for fresh graduates to find a job. They can't find a job and they don't want to stay at home 😭
