They had once been together day and night, and An Ying knew he hated being touched. She did this on purpose, hoping to provoke him quickly.

"You called me the wrong name."

His deep eyes were wolfish, dark currents swirling beneath their surface. His Adam's apple bobbed as his thumb pressed hard against the back of her neck. In a hoarse voice, he enunciated every word: "Kiss me."

An Ying's heart trembled as memories swept over her like waves.
