An Exception

[Age Gap] [Unrequited Love from the Female Lead] [He Pursues Her]

A light drizzle fell. Sketches from the art studio were thrown out the window, fluttering through the air.

Xia Zhi ran outside, eyes red, and crouched down to pick them up one by one.

Not far away, a black Porsche Cayenne slowly pulled to a stop.

The automatic door opened. Holding a long-handled black umbrella, the man walked over to her. "Come back with me."

Xia Zhi looked up. Through her blurred vision, the man's features were unchanged, just as they had been when she first saw him at the graduation banquet.

But back then, emboldened by drink, she had worked up the courage to follow him outside the courtyard and ask in a trembling voice, "Uncle, c-can I pursue you?"

His expression had been cool as he turned her down without hesitation. "No."

Please note:

1. They are not blood-related, and there is a seven-year age gap.

2. Both leads are sexually inexperienced, one-on-one romance, unequivocally happy ending.
