[Reborn!] All I Do Is Run My Mouth

I’m starting with this one. Feel free to comment, and you’re welcome to discuss anything you didn’t understand or any differing opinions~ This isn’t a pure wish-fulfillment story; it’s grounded in reality. (A girl transmigrates into another world with no identity and struggles to make a living.) Possible content warnings are listed at the very bottom~ Also known as Politics, International Political Theory and Practice: A Case Study of the Vongola. A series filling in gaps through research into the original work and official novels. The alternate timeline and accompanying bonus stories are locked and have little to do with this story’s continuity, so don’t worry about them. [Lighthearted blurb: Good news: I transmigrated. Bad news: I transmigrated one second before landing a job offer after graduating from a notoriously difficult-to-employ political science program. Worse news: I transmigrated in my own body, and I was still falling. So why would spiritual qi revival create a black hole that made people fall into another world?! I’m just an ordinary person who’s only ever heard of spiritual qi revival. Why do I have to go through this?! And this landing spot looks way too vicious! A barbed-wire fence with machine guns mounted on it surrounds us. Across from me is a black-haired teenager who looks a little cocky. Beneath me is a busted robot that’s damaged itself just to give me a brutal bump. The black-clad people outside the arena, who call themselves Varia, say I smashed something and their Cloud Guardian is going to kill me. The pink-haired girls in the arena, who call themselves the Cerberus, claim to be the referees and say that an unauthorized person entering the match counts as interference, so they have to eliminate me. Hello? What kind of match is so important? Don’t people have rights? Couldn’t you show some respect for my right to live? Luckily, I seem to have found a way to stay alive for now… I look at the half of a ring stuck on my hand that I can’t pry off no matter what, take a deep breath, and raise my hand toward everyone: “Is it possible that I’m destined to take Mosca’s place and participate in the match as Varia’s Cloud Guardian?” Staying alive for even one second counts as staying alive, right? As for the match… Handsome guy across from me, could you go easy on me [Serious blurb] Power: the allure of violence and coercive control. Wherever people gather, there is a struggle for power, giving rise to the most fundamental political principle, rooted in human nature: people act to maximize their own interests. Those who dwell in the shadows and have no need to restrain themselves with morality embody this principle even more plainly. Ottavio, Varia’s former second-in-command, devised a series of schemes to win fame and fortune, but in the end he and the power he craved were both consumed by the flames of rage. Xanxus, Varia’s current leader, launched two coups to seize the Vongola boss’s throne, only to be defeated by a middle schooler, just as the Cerberus had foretold. The crime of harming the Ninth Vongola Boss is plain for everyone to see. Varia is in a more perilous position than it was during the Cradle Incident eight years ago. Their only options are to accept their fate, concede defeat, and submit to any punishment, or make one last desperate attempt. But the mysterious woman who fell from the sky during the Cloud Battle and was taken hostage as a bargaining chip thought for a moment, then offered them another choice. On an ordinary night in Namimori, Varia gained a highly educated political science graduate, and the destiny spoken of by the Cerberus subtly changed course.] [Romance] A sandwich pairing. See the names listed in the protagonist and supporting cast sections below.↓↓↓ (I originally wrote “see the protagonist section,” but then a character profile was added and one of the protagonist names ended up in the supporting cast section. I hate it.) The author can’t write romance, but I did my best. The side story and the 80 alternate-timeline story are updated in parallel: Back to the Past, Why Didn’t You Bring Me? [Progress]: Ring Battle arc (complete) -- Information Warfare (wild guesses and gap-filling version) (complete) -- Future arc (filling in little gaps) (in progress) -- Representative Battle [Status]: School’s started. My ridiculously pushy advisor has me spinning like a top. Weekly updates. If there’s no update, I’m probably doing more evil research. Content warnings: · A girl who knows nothing about the original Katekyo Hitman Reborn! transmigrates into it. · First-person POV, so there are information gaps. (For example, the girl’s knowledge isn’t necessarily correct; her understanding is based on her own knowledge and perspective. She knows almost nothing at first and is mostly talking nonsense.) · Includes my own worldbuilding and personal interpretations of the characters. · The heroine has strange abilities and a troubled personality, but she’s slowly on the road to recovery. · Chapters 10 and 11 are alternate timelines. This story follows Chapter 10. The story in Chapter 18 next door follows Chapter 11. Theme: Knowledge is power, and debate can save the world
