After Zhimu Zheyu died, a short circuit and a game bug caused the game characters he'd created in life to break free and run off on their own. They were thriving on the Black side.
Trapped in that world with a buff that attracted new Black-side characters, he could escape the crisis and earn a revival reward only by winning the Red side's trust and arresting every Black-side character.
Zhimu: ??
He's just a gamer. How's he supposed to deal with all these Black-side characters?
And what does 100% attraction even mean :/

The newly added Black-side characters were all mysteries, their whereabouts unknown, turning the Red-Black conflict into hell mode.
Using his possession skill to gather information and plunge himself into the action, Zhimu Zheyu became a beacon of hope at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Again and again, he pulled off last-second maneuvers to turn the tide, rushing to the front lines of the Red-Black conflict.
But the new Black-side characters he'd attracted were all stranger than the last!
Leading the local police in a raid on Black-side Character A's safehouse, he found several sketches and photos of himself under the bed, right in front of everyone's eyes.
The Nagano trio exchanged complicated looks. "Um... do you need legal assistance?"
He ran into Black-side Character B at a murder scene. As they squared off, he held the little detective's hand. In the middle of their battle of wits, the other man suddenly pinned him down and affectionately straightened his collar.
A Public Security undercover agent who witnessed it all gave him a sharp look. "Is the beacon of the police actually an Organization mole?!"
While investigating a string of bombings, he met Black-side Character C, an information broker. In exchange for a button closest to his heart, he got a clue money couldn't buy.
The bomb squad nearly dragged him away on the spot. "That guy's obviously up to no good!"
He and Black-side Character D, a hacker, played mind games online. The strange message the other man sent and then unsent was seen in its entirety by a child he'd rescued.
Haibara and Hiroki let out piercing shrieks. "What kind of people is Officer Zhimu meeting online?!"
The Red side always managed to witness every strange moment between Zhimu and the Black side, leaving him bruised in body and spirit and making their impressions of him swing wildly between factions.
Zhimu: .
#Help, why do my friends keep recommending guides on how to protect myself from creeps?!#

After keeping his head down until the final Red-Black showdown, Zhimu Zheyu became the biggest contributor to victory.
At the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, they called him the Black-side Baiter. All he had to do was put out a little bait, and he'd reel in a whole load of Black-side characters!
Zhimu: What baiter? I'm just an ordinary police officer doing my job!
The friend who'd arrived too late to save someone: "You mean the kind of ordinary police officer whose mere presence makes criminals jump into helicopters to rescue him?"
The undercover agent who'd witnessed his double standards: "You mean the kind of ordinary police officer who makes crazy Black-side characters change their tune the moment they see him?"
The elementary schooler scared into silence: "You mean the kind of ordinary police officer who runs into three actual Black-side characters every time he goes out to eat?"
Zhimu, whose innocence had been smeared by n Black-side characters just by standing there: QAQ
I really don't know those people!
*All the new Black-side characters are game characters the protagonist created, so they naturally have an extremely warped, 100% fixation on him.
*Misunderstandings (yes), getting picked on (yes), and every new Black-side character has an obsessive, one-sided crush on the protagonist. Packed with my niche personal tastes, plus plenty of misunderstandings involving the sensible protagonist and his companions being shocked...
Theme: Hard work can work miracles.
