[Bomb Disposal Squad] I Heard I Died Young

As a hired criminal who does things for money, Jinpei Matsuda is a standard-issue young man with nothing: no dreams, no values, and no memories.

Until one day, a simple business deal landed him in the middle of a murder case. Fortunately, the detective investigating it was capable and found the culprit quickly, allowing him to get away.

But was there something wrong with that half-long-haired officer? Why did he keep staring at Matsuda with such a look of joy and sadness, and keep finding chances to talk to him?

After successfully getting away, driven by some unspoken impulse, he bought the detective's information from an informant:

Kenji Hagiwara, 26, assigned to Division Three of the First Investigation Division. His parents and older sister live back home in Kanagawa, while he lives and works alone in Tokyo.

By an incredible coincidence, this officer had a childhood friend he was always talking about. That person had the same name and looked just like Matsuda, but had died young.

Kenji Hagiwara: "I told you, Jinpei is missing, not dead before his time!"
